Buckhead Cafe Story Our roots are southern. We learned many mouth-watering recipes from our parents. As children we assisted our mothers and grandmothers in preparing the family meals, setting the table, bringing out the food, all things that good children should do.

Really good food. They treat you like family here. Momma Connie has treated me like a son for years now. This is my favorite place to eat when I am in Jackson. Most of all I love the people here.

We love Buckhead! The staff is very friendly. The restaurant is always clean and that includes the restrooms. They have a nice variety of dishes and they taste like good southern home cooking. The lunch menu entres and vegetable selection changes daily. They are open on Tuesday nights with the regular menu and on Thursday nights, they have STEAK NIGHT. They are some of the best steaks we have ever eaten. In addition, the special chef they have in on Thursday nights, makes the ABSOLUTE BEST SHRIMP AND GRITS that I have EVER eaten! I highly recommend Buckhead.

Food was very good and fresh very please either the food and the price. Tried it on a Tuesday night and had the meatloaf. Will be returning to try other items in the future. Place looked very clean on the inside and everyone was nice!
