Had a great breakfast at this spot while on a tour of Yale. I had the mushroom omelette with potatoes, my buddy had frittata and the breakfast sandwich. No crumbs were left on the plate. Service and the coffee were great. The potatoes in particular were really good! Crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. Will definitely come back again.

Great ambiance and space. Feels contemporary and chic in center New Haven. Nice drinks and wine list. Enjoyed the oysters but the main dishes were a total miss. Scallops were ok and the steak was overdone 2x — which was disappointing, especially for the price. But server was super sweet and very kind and did what she could to make up for chef’s issues.

Pricey but not outrageous. Elegant brunch food, luxurious and chill atmosphere. Some might find the wait a little long, but we found it perfect for getting a chat in.

Breakfast was kinda meh. By the reviews seems like this place does lunch better.
Mushroom Omlette was the best, although the mushrooms could’ve been of better quality imo.
Ricotta Pancakes kinda felt like regular pancakes (i’ve made ricotta pancakes before, they should be *much* fluffier). Expected blueberries to be in the pancakes but they came outside.
Egg looked pretty good, but it tasted kinda bland. Potatoes as well. Needs more flavor!
Bacon was really pretty meh. Only had one piece. Not crispy at all.
Service was ok. Atmosphere pretty good although the chair backs were unnecessarily short.

The food tasted good, we had the crab cakes and clam chowder for appetizers and the “seared scallops” as the main course. While the scallops tasted great three pieces over a pound of shaved squash was very underwhelming, for more than $30 I’d expect 5-6 pieces. This should be relabeled as an appetizer. For dessert we tried the pot de creme and the custard wasn’t smooth, it was just like any cheap store-bought chocolate pudding. The pisco sour cocktail was great. Overall, food and service not at a level that matches the prices.

We stopped in to try their brunch menu and really enjoyed our time there. We were a party of 9, and they were able to accommodate us in a separate room which made it nice. For my meal I had the burger and my wife had the eggs and prosciutto. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.

I recently stopped in for brunch at this charming restaurant in New Haven, conveniently connected to a hotel. The atmosphere was relaxing.
The food was simple but satisfying. I enjoyed the bacon, which was perfectly crispy and flavorful. The egg and tomato entrée was also fresh and well-prepared. While the menu didn’t offer a wide variety of options, what they did have was done well.
I would return.

Quite nice ambiance in this restaurant / bar.
Food was decent but is on the higher side. NYC pricing I’d say. Yummy large portions and the drinks were really good. Service was a little lacking ambition. To get a full 5 star rating it would have to wow quite a bit more! Otherwise, no complaints. It did what it offered well

Had a wonderful time! My bf and I went here for Vday 2026. Ivan was our server and he was amazing, so kind and funny, we had some good chats. Service was slow which was to be expected due to the rush of Vday (and our res was for 8:45 pm), Ivan was very on top of everything and even gave us free wine for our patience and understanding! The slowness didn’t bother us at all either way, so that was a nice surprise! Seriously cannot recommend him enough.
We did the Vday prix fixe menu, spent about $300 (both people were about $85 for the menu, plus drinks and tip!)
We also had a room in the hotel and it was great! Got breakfast at Heirloom the following day and had another wonderful experience.

I was so looking forward to eating here and I can say the atmosphere was beautiful. The service was pretty good. All the appetizers were great however 2 of us ordered the steak medium and it came out overcooked on the ends and not in the center. We did give constructive criticism to them and they took off desserts which was nice, however we were not asking for a discount. I loved the place however I do not think if I ever go back I will get the steak.
