We hadn’t been to this Mexican restaurant in several years. We went for the Xmas tree lighting and we hadn’t eaten yet. We decided to stop there. They weren’t busy so we got seated immediately. The chips and salsa was delicious. My wife got shrimp tacos and my daughter split my wife ‘s meal. I can’t remember what my dish was called, but it was really good. Too much food for one meal. I ate it for lunch a couple of days later. I like my food spicy and I wasn’t disappointed. The waitress was very attentive and brought refills as needed. They played music on a speaker, but you were able to have a conversation. Overall the atmosphere was kinda intimate. The prices seemed a little high, but everything seems out of place anymore.

This is the SECOND TIME I’ve tried to eat here. Both times, No employees to be seen. I literally walked around the space, perused the menu, got bored waiting, then left. Looked like another restaurant next door I could see workers with aprons ON THE IR PHONES. So of course I tried this for, surley I could get food here. NOPE! ITS THE SAME RESTAURANT!!! ALL GHE EMPLOYEES ON THEIR PHONES DIDNT SEE ME DRIVE UP, WALK IN, OR NOTICE ME WANDERING AROUND YHE RESTAURANT. It was after I hand signaled through the door test one fellow finally looked up. Still, I waited, no movement on his part toward the main dinning area. So I got into my car WHICH WAS PARKED RIGHT OUT FRONT OF THE RESTAURANT! HOW COULD THEY MISS THAT??? GET OFF YOUR PHONES!!!! It’s a service industry, not Tik Tok. Please this place should never wonder why they have zero business.

as the highest rated restaurant in Coats, we had high expectations for service and quality of food. the server was very welcoming and allowed us to sit where we pleased. complimentary chips were served promptly after seating. the chips came out warm and delicious. the complimentary salsa was a smooth water salsa with just the right amount of heat. it was a blended salsa, not chunky. we ordered the choriqueso and a lunch shredded chicken chimichanga. the prices are average and reasonable.
the food came out piping hot within minutes. delicious. food quality was higher than expected. we decided to order a shrimp burrito and two tamales as well. they also came out very very quickly and we’re just as delicious. over all expectations were exceeded and they deserve 5 stars for food quality, service and ambiance. well done

Authentic Mexican food served by the husband and wife owners. Food was fantastic and tasty, great portions for the price. Horchata was sweet and fresh. Service was fantastic. We will be back!

Our very first time here and it certainly did not disappoint!! Excellent service, one of a kind wait staff and phenomenal food!! The owner is a true gem in today’s standards of restaurants throughout the southeast. No wonder this place has been voted tops in all of Harnett County! We will return soon and tell everyone about it!!

Ricardo and his staff always make us feel so welcome, and their food is Always Delicious!!! The fajitas (any kind) are superior to most Mexican restaurants. We didn’t have to wait long for the food to be served, also.

Elizabeth was our waitress and she was taking care of most of the tables herself and never kept us waiting. Service was quick and refills came without asking. Nice little place to enjoy your meal! Wish I took photos, everything looked so good, went straight to eating lol. Will try to post photos next time.
