Ballarat Indian Restaurant, Golden Point, is a gem for you who craves authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine.
The ambience here is so inviting that visiting this restaurant is a joy.
The menu offers a fantastic variety of dishes. The plates are generous, fresh, and full of traditional flavours. The naan breads are soft and warm, and the biryani is great.
The staff are friendly, attentive, and always there for you with a smile.
The restaurant is clean and tidy with the signature Indian tunes playing in the background.
This Christmas season, they’ve added an extra touch of kindness and festive cheer – every customer receives a lovely Christmas card, a chocolate treat, and a $5 voucher for their next visit. It’s a thoughtful gesture that really shows how much they appreciate their customers.
Whether you are dining in or grabbing a takeaway, you’ll love your experience!
The staff were amazing and the food was just beyond amazing and delicious
Highly recommend this place if your in the area
Parked out the front with no lighting, so stepped in thick mud 🙁
Then took the only table for 2 behind a pillar.
(One other couple already seated)
We chose the ‘special’ for 2 people. It was affordable at approx $66
But we wanted a beer each instead of coke and fancy bread instead of plain naan. This added $22 to our meal. Which I think was fair. But the quality of the food was quite poor.
The samosa was very dry. The tandoori chicken was over cooked and chewy. The lamb in the Rogan Josh was dry too… but still a little pink. The butter chicken had spice, but wasn’t creamy like I’m used to. The rice was bland and so dry it was almost crunchy! The bread that we paid extra for, tasted like plain naan…. No evidence of fruit (cashmiri) or garlic at all. Service was excellent and the beer (Kingfisher) was delicious!!
