10/10 would recommend and definitely coming back. When we first arrived, it was empty and we had just walked in during shift change. Our expectations were low as there was no one her dining. Wait time was long but totally understandable as the waitress was also cooking. Food was phenomenal. Haven’t had actually crispy fries in awhile. I got the Bacon Lovers Hamburger and added mushrooms. Took up half the tray. Husband got the Fabulous Philly and the cheese pull was the star of the show. He got a vanilla malt and the waitress made a little extra and I got one as well. Overall the food was amazing, service was better than expected, and the rustic 70s vibes really makes you feel like you’re a high school in that time era. Super cool.

If you have somewhere to be and are looking for a quick place to stop and eat.. do not come here. Service was slow and was not the best. The butter was hard as a rock and I asked for it to be soften and the worker was like “can’t help you there!” I get if they can’t do it because of policies or whatever but there is nicer ways to go about answering a question. The food was pretty good some minor things that I didn’t like but over all was pretty good. If you have time and want to try this place out it does have some pretty decent French toast and chicken fried steak.

my family and i were looking for a place to grab a bite to eat and we found penny’s diner. it’s an adorable 50’s themed restaurant from the booths, flooring, wall decor and music. it made an amazing atmosphere to enjoy our food, which was so delicious as well. fresh fries along with perfected packed burgers. we didn’t try it this time but the shakes and sundaes they offered looked and sounded wonderful. to sum it up we will be returning to this diner and telling other friends and family about it as well

Horrible. Run away as fast as you can. We thought this would be a fun place to go. The table had to be washed off before we could sit down. They were out of the first three items I tried to order. The food was undercooked even after being sent back. French toast was raw in the center. It was only me and my daughter and one other man when we went. Very unprofessional waitress. She had earbuds in and literally said she couldn’t wait to leave. We couldn’t wait to leave either. The whole building needs a major cleaning.

Staff were nice. The place needed a better cleaning. Our table wasn’t the greatest. The food took about 20 minutes. The pancakes were cold. My brother got the chilli burger there. It wasn’t all that good. My dad tasted it and said it was ok. I had the bacon cheese burger. Nice big burger with lots of toppings. The bacon was the best. The fries were thier own style. I liked the seasoning coating. You can see it in the pictures. The staff get 5, the bacon cheese burger 5, The bacon 5 stars. Chilli burger 2, The clean aspect 3, fries 5, time it took to get the food 1, temp of food 2. My burger and fries were hot but not fresh out the kitchen hot. All together 4 stars.

** ATTENTION***
My wife and I were there at 10am on Saturday 6/15/24. As we were driving there, we were hoping there wasn’t going to be too long of a wait to get seated. As we pulled into the parking lot, there was a woman sitting in front of the entrance on a chair smoking a cigarette. We parked and had to walk around her to enter the glass door into the diner. She yelled back at us as we passed her “You can sit anywhere…” Just as we stepped inside, a homeless looking male walked out and said “I need to go get some change!” We noticed, we were the only patrons inside, and we walked table to table to find a clean one, but couldn’t. We chose the least filthy booth. The woman who was smoking finally came inside and got us some room temp coffee. As we sat there, a large spider crawled across our table, so i smashed it with a coffee creamer. The homeless dirty male re-entered the diner and walked into the kitchen. The smoker female and him were the only two employees. Then as we looked at the window sill, there was a massive graveyard of insect carcasses (approx 100+) that looked as if it had been like that for a decade. The floor under our booth was caked in years of dirt and bugs. The blinds had dead bugs on each louver. We still thought maybe we could tough it out. We both ordered the Sunrise Breakfast skillets. Food was soaked in grease, and my wife immediately found a hair (or spider leg in her food) she tried to push past it and keep going, but then I pulled a 6″ black hair from my skillet when I was about 1/2 way into it. Both of our stomachs turned. The smoker waitress said “how was your food?” as I was fishing the long hair out from under my food. I replied “Not good, there is hair in our food!” She replied “at least it ain’t mine…” I told her I’m disgusted and can’t eat another bite. Then she gave us the bill for full amount of $45, and didn’t say a word. My wife left her full meal and coffee and I left half a meal and coffee.
Someone NEEDS to shut this place down for good!!!!! Maybe they don’t want business?
