Come here every now and then. They’ve really gone down hill with quality. There was barely any meat in both my burritos (asada regular burrito and breakfast burrito chorizo). I thought as I ate it, maybe all the meats at the bottom, nope. If i wanted a rice burrito, i wouldve ordered one. Unfortunately won’t be going here anymore. Price even went up (like all things).

This is one of my regular spots. I tried the asada and brirria super tacos, pictured below. I recommend the super burrito, it’s very similar to the mission style burrito from San Francisco (If you know, you know). The costumer service was great, the staff was very sweet. They offer three house made salsas, all bomb! Every time I have dined here I have left full, and nourished. The price is more than reasonable. Definitely worth stopping by.

Burrito, beans, and rice were all pretty average. The carne asada and tortillas were fantastic. Prices were pretty reasonable, and portions were decent. The seating was small, and there wasn’t much of it. Seems like an order and take out place rather than a sit down. Anyway, I will be going back for sure, but it’s probably only a number two pick.

Got a taco Supreme, the thick slab of griddled cheese was great. Everything was well-seasoned, including the rice and beans. Delicious loaded asada fries with a tasty presentation too (got the chorizo).

Great vegetarian tamale!! Huge $3 Tamales that have cheese/jalapeño flavor or chicken/rice flavor, very worth!
The Salsas are super super spicy & salty; I love them! The green herb creamy and smoky-bitter dark red salsa were my favorites.
**All ingredients tasted very FRESH
Lots of vegetarian possibilities but the cheese-only option isn’t posted on the menu so just ask for cheese or bean and rice instead of meat. They also have a good salad topping with sauce, cabbage, &potato for enchiladas and it really makes a fuller dish when ordered.
**YES- best flavorful Rice and Beans! (I think Lard is probably used so ask them if you are Vegan)

This is an amazing, no frills Mexican Restaurant. This restaurant is very casual, you order food at the counter and the staff brings the food to you. The chips and salsa doesn’t come with the meal, but I ordered the chips and salsa, with a side of guacamole. The chips and salsa were excellent. The chips were very fresh, the salsa was homemade and had great flavor, as well as the guacamole. For an entrée, I ordered the Birra Tacos/Quesadilla. These are the best Birra Tacos I have ever had. The taco sauce delivered to the table is outstanding, especially the green sauce. The serving size was very large and the staff was extremely friendly. I highly recommend this Mexican Restaurant.

Visited for the first time yesterday, and so glad I went! The food was delicious and the service was awesome. Everyone working was so polite and you can tell they take pride in their business. Seriously some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in the PWN. The queso birria was probably one of the best I’ve ever had.
Their website was a little confusing so I just ordered at the restaurant to take it to go. The food came out quick and hot. He even brought it out to my car even though I set a timer to come back inside to get it myself.
Seriously so happy I found this little hidden gem and will be back soon!

I lived in Mexico 29 years and this is the best Mexican place in Tacoma. Funny this rating asked for atmosphere and a bunch of other things that just don’t apply to this place. It’s not about the atmosphere, you can dine in and I have, which is no problem, but the best thing is to get take out and be gone. A lot of times there’s a line because everyone knows what a great place this is. Best to call ahead if you know their menu and just pick it up, the food is extraordinary.
