As you can see from our group photo, we all enjoyed our breakfast meals. When our party of 9 arrived this morning, Friday the 13th became a lucky day – two booths next to each other and 3 wait staff to take our orders. Catrina was the veteran, and she was training a young man & woman with her. We ordered our drinks, which were delivered quickly, and then breakfast.
Everyone had something different at our table. Two of us had scrambled eggs and raisin toast, but grits and bacon for one and hash browns and sausage patties for the other. One had the hash browns, bacon, eggs bowl, and another had the cheese omelet with wheat toast and hash browns. Last to order had a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on Texas Toast. Not sure what the other table ordered.
Meals came quickly, hot and good. As coffee cups and water glasses emptied, they were quickly refilled. This was a busy place, but we did not feel neglected. It was a good choice for breakfast! Waffle House remains one of our favorite breakfast places – no matter where we are!

Coming back home from Chattanooga trip. Friend and I got the munchies. Stopped in the Waffle House in Etowah. Always a great atmosphere, service and great tasting breakfast. I’m probably considered a regular there. I go there just about every Sunday morning for breakfast to start my day.

I had worked a 10-hour shift. Came in super hungry I was the only one in the restaurant. I ordered a veggie omelette, then I said ‘ you know NO meat, like bacon or sausage ‘ so she puts ham in it instead . When I asked her why she said you didn’t say veggies only. The staff is ignorant. I ate less than a quarter of my plate had a full cup of tea with 1 sip gone and she charged me full price and I left the meal on the counter. I guess that’s one way to keep up your numbers. Make the order wrong and charge for it anyway.

Horrible service, rude waitress who literally took our order while on the phone with someone, and not to mention the food tasted awful. Our waitress didn’t refill our drinks and we waited almost an hour for our food. We went in the afternoon around 9p. So if your looking for a good experience at the waffle house don’t go in the evenings cause it’ll be a waste of time and money.

Severe drop in quality and service over the past few months, and the food has gotten more expensive. I don’t go as much, but these are changes I’ve noticed over the past few months.

I’ve been to a few Waffle Houses, and this one is about average. If I had written this review a couple of years ago, it would have been 5 stars because this location used to be excellent. Now it’s just your average Waffle House. I’m holding out hope that this location can up their game and become the excellent establishment they used to be.
(The picture here is me with a custom burger made with two waffles for buns. This was about 2 years ago as of 2023.)
I go here almost exclusively at night. You might have a different encounter during the day as I’m not sure about those times. The two times I have been there during the morning shift, it was pretty much par for the course.
This review is a culmination of all of my times eating here over the years.

Our server Britany was amazing, but another lady Angel yelled at her in front of ALL of the customer…this is not good business practices… If corrective action is needed in the future, a supervisor should pull said subordinate aside AWAY from customers.

3rd shift at any Waffle House is always a hit or miss, but tonight I want to brag on Author who was the cook but being a former employee I noticed how above and beyond he took his job. He was bussing and wiping tables when walked in, cooked, brought us our food, pre-bused our table, and just had great energy all around. Hands down best employee to create good experience for costumers! Thank you!

Restroom has been neglected for a while now. When told the staff acted like it was an overnight problem. We are here several times a week and have noticed this ongoing. See pics.
Great american eatery! Standard menu good service. Place is fairly new so it seems cleaner than most.
