Don’t sleep on cafe Amelia! It’s a beautifully decorated cafe with delicious food and drinks! Its something ameila desperately needs. Among the saturated smoke shops and gas stations its a refreshing little cafe. You can grab coffee lunch or a sweet treat for a great price. I highly recommend the southern chicken sandwich its amazing. My only complaint is the chairs are a bit uncomfortable but thats such a minor problem that I’m not taking any stars off for it. The service was friendly and extremely kind! Its a nice cozy place to hangout in ameila which we desperately needed.

This place is so cute! Everyone is so sweet. Atmosphere is very relaxing! Also, hands down the BEST chicken salad I have ever had! This is our new favorite spot! I forgot to take a picture of the chicken salad but look at my husband’s goetta and fried egg sandy. WOW. I love this place. Would give more stars if I could! Go here!!

I should have reviewed this little gem back when we discovered this place in November. The space is limited, but the owner and crew are doing some real magic in the space they have. It’s not often the you find “the best I’ve ever had” but I can already say that about the homemade pimento cheese. I believe virtually everything is made from scratch, and you can really tell. We have been here upwards of 10 times already, and the food is always fantastic. We have had both breakfast and lunch stuff, both savory and sweet. There is no wrong answer. The wonder and staff are friendly and seem to want to learn about their customers. Please give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

After several recommendations I finally got the chance to visit. Delicious breakfast and lunch (our group tried both). Small space, shared the long table, nice music… feels like a step back to a simpler time. With great food!

My husband saw that Cafe Amelia and Bakery was recently opened and we love to support local businesses! While I did not go inside and we put our order in to go, I saw through the window. The outside is very welcoming with fun window art for the season. My husband said the staff was kind, it smelled really good of fresh quality foods and the seating inside was quaint and welcoming. I saw a sign as well that there is some outdoor seating.
We ordered (photographed in order below) the bacon Swiss croissant which has a spicy mayo with arugula. Delicious and made with love! The type of sandwich you enjoy to the last bite.
Next, a side of tator tots that my toddler loved and kept asking for more. (Note he is particular and will not eat these at home ) very tasty and delightfully seasoned while remaining classic in taste.
Next, the sausage biscuits and gravy, made with paprika and seasoning on top, truly delicious and savory with the perfect amount of salt. The gravy is a nice medium consistency not too thick or runny!
Lastly, the French toast! While I did not try this myself, our teenage son enjoyed it very much!
Not photographed, matcha with white chocolate— if you are a matcha fan this was delish! An iced coffee with oat milk these were gone by the time we arrived home.
I look forward to going back and trying the lunch menu!
Highly recommend trying this new local business. Let’s support small business, especially hard working made with love local eats such as this place.
Very well priced, easy to take on the go if in a hurry and charming and quaint inside for a cozy homemade feel.
Thank you for the hospitality and kindness, Cafe Amelia and Bakery!

This was my first visit. I went out of my way to go there based on my son, who lives close, strong recommendation.
I was greeted by the owner as I came in the door. The shop has an open feeling and is very bright and colorful. I ordered a biscuit with classic gravy, a streusel cake, and a cappiccino. All three were very tasty (good) cost is reasonable.
Could use a little more gravy with the biscuit.
All aspects from the shop, to the food, the containers to the plastic ware are quailty. I admit to being a plastic ware snob. Suffice to say you eat steak with this stuff.
I strongly recommend you give CAB a try and post your thoughts.
Could use more local places like this.
