Some of the best seafood we’ve had in New England. The lobster roll was stuffed with large pieces, the shrimp were fried just right and the fries were perfection. Great place to stop after a morning of exploring. Clean and dog friendly outdoor dining. ☀️

It reminds me of an East Coast version of Depot Dog. IYKYK. Regardless, great stop. The food is awesome. The fries are terrific. I had the fish and chips and there was so much fish, I didn’t get to all the chips. Oh, and the crows. There was a murder hanging out during our stay. Surely they are regulars.

Had the lobster melt on marbled rye. It was outstanding. The fries are battered not fresh cut like other reviews said. So they were a let down for me. Not a fan of battered fries personally. I’d skip them next time. Still outstanding and nice atmosphere with tables in the shade outside. 5 stars.

Hazel’s Take-Out is a must visit! My family and I stopped by on our way up the coast. I had their Lobster Melt, the rest got the fried clams and Hazel’s Haddock Reuben. The Lobster Melt is delicious, stuffed with lobster, and not too strong on the mayo. We also substituted the fries from the fried clams with the garbage fries. The fries themselves are amazing with the right amount of potato and crisp. As with most places around here, prices are a lot higher than other parts of the country but worth it!
Furthermore, if there’re no picnic tables to eat at, they’ll bring the food to your car! Service and staff are very friendly.

We waited 27 minutes for 4 somewhat small lobster rolls that were just chopped up claws for $27 each. They do not deliver your food as FCFS. Several parties who were in line after us were served their lobster rolls before we were. Disappointed to be honest. Not worth a 27 minute wait.

Best Lobster rolls in Maine, fries were hot and crisp, slaw was delish. Staff was super friendly, picnic table were clean and under shade trees. Had water for any pups that visited. Just an all around great place to eat.

My husband has had a lobster roll in every town we’ve visited on our Down East tour. He declares Hazel’s the best hands down. I can vouch for the pumpkin shake. The place is cheerful and clean and the staff were amazing. You can sit outside or they will bring your food to your car.

Great little food shack. I enjoyed a very tasty lobster roll that was full of lobster. The other options (burgers, sausages, cheesdsteaks, etc) mean its not just a seafood shack. The staff were nice. Others eating there seemed happy. The wait time was a bit long, but I vote overall worth it. Solid lunch spot.

Hazels is a take out with picnic tables or you can eat in your vehicle. They are fast and bring your food you once you order. Sitting at the tables I always seem to meet friendly people and often there are nice dogs too. The tables are clean, have shade umbrellas, and seem to have fresh paint every year. My favourite treat there is the haddock ruben. Everything I’ve ever had there has been fresh, and cooked right, never overly greasy or over or under cooked. They make a good milkshake, too. Lots of flavors to choose from.

We’re traveling through Rockland and saw this cute take-out joint pop up on Google maps as we’re searching for food in Rockland. Amazing chili cheese fries!! The western burger was also huge and delicious. Highly recommend and the portions are worth sharing!
