The young lady was so welcoming when I got there! She was so polite and even chatted with me about the menu and salsas. The restaurant was warm and cozy, which made it the perfect spot. Plus, there’s outdoor seating too. The food was just right, hot, and delicious! It’s a bit pricey, but I didn’t even notice the cost while I was enjoying it. Good food really does make you forget about the price. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more.

We are so glad to have this addition to the neighborhood. After Nik-n-Willie’s sold it was never the same so when it closed we were glad to see the spot taken in a different direction all together as the pizza was never the same. The food and cocktails are amazing and the customer service is fantastic. They seem to be having problems with their mini split however as it was misting in the summer and then the heater wasn’t working last week. But that is on the installer not them. Do bring your own water though because they do not provide free tap water, only charge for bottle water. But the food is amazing and if you have a big appetite all you can eat tacos on Tuesdays and Thursdays is a blast. I love that they did an all you can eat night. I don’t know if they do that at the Wonder location but it felt like it paid homage to the all you can eat Pizza buffets of the past that were a neighborhood favorite.

So, I live in south Reno and I WANT to love this place. I had been to the one in midtown and they had great street tacos so I was really excited when they opened one in south Reno. Pros: the inside is really cute, and the outdoor patio is really cute. Only complaint, it was SO hot in there. I know it’s November but there was hot air blowing, it almost made me nauseous. The service was excellent, very attentive and kind, food came out fast. Portions are excellent. Quality of the food is excellent, lots of menu choices. Prices are fair for the quality that you get. Guacamole and queso were very good.
Cons: margaritas are too sweet. I drank the cucumber jalapeño margarita and the classic, both too sweet. I couldn’t finish the second one even with the Tajin to offset the sweetness. I got the Mar y Tierra tacos, the ribeye was way too salty, I couldn’t get through more than 4 bites. Also, the presentation is beautiful, but it’s impossible to pick the tacos up and eat them as a taco.
I would go back, but I wouldn’t order margaritas and I would stick with the street tacos.

Sooooo yummy!!! The street tacos were fresh and tasty! Very shareable too. There is a fun patio that I can’t wait to return to in the spring!

We unexpectedly stumbled upon this brand new gem of a restaurant the day after it opened (honestly had no clue it was opening). The tacos were massive and delicious, the cocktails were tasty, staff was incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was on point! They had a DJ on the front patio which was super fun and added to atmosphere; I hope that wasn’t just an “opening weekend” thing. It was a super fun vibe.
We took the last open table on the patio and even with how busy they were, drinks and food came out quick. My only wish is that they stayed open until 9 pm instead of 8. I can’t wait to make this a regular spot and I’m so stoked to have this little gem in south Reno!
What we ordered and would 10/10 recommend:
Drinks: Pina Habanero (mezcal based cocktail) and Cucumber Jalapeño (tequila based cocktail)
Food: Barria Tacos, Shrimp Al Pastor Tacos, and a side of rice and beans.

I have been waiting a long time for this place to open! Food and service were both great, but as stated in another review, there is a fly problem. I sat indoors and was waving flies away the whole time. It did put quite the damper on the experience. I do not know if it’s better outside. The food is too good to be having flies land on it! I hope they fix this issue.

This is a sweet, unassuming Mexican restaurant tucked away at the base of Geiger Grade in South Reno, and it is absolutely worth seeking out. The food is wonderful. Fresh, creative, and genuinely delicious, with thoughtful flavors that feel both comforting and elevated.
The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, making it a great place to settle in and enjoy the experience. The owner was kind and clearly cares about both the food and the guests, which adds to the charm of the place.
The drinks were lovely and well made, and I would highly recommend trying one. Overall, this is a special little spot that feels like a hidden gem. We will absolutely be back.

This place is cute, and the food is good, that’s why I’m giving 2 stars. Our server, Jairo, was so sweet and helpful. He was really carrying the experience, because the kitches was loud.
We could hear them screaming and singing and just generally being loud. I don’t mind people having a good time at work usually, but this was just too much. We wondered if they were on drugs. Our server kept apologizing and trying to make it better, but it would not stop.
The food here is pretty amazing, and the front end people try very hard, but management needs to crack down on the back a bit. I hope I can come back and this will be better.

I first judge a Mexican restaurant here for the margs and both the food and margs here are delicious! The tacos and quesadilla are packed with meat and goodies, so you get what you pay for. The queso and salsas are bomb. The cucumber jalapeño marg (I asked for less agave) is so yummy and so pretty in presentation. Service is 5 star. There’s patios (love!) and indoor seating. We will be back soon.

While it is a bit more pricey than other spots around town, the food and service are absolutely fantastic and worth every penny. The restaurant is small with limited seating, so you may find yourself waiting, but again, worth the wait.
Lastly, we left a credit card there during our last visit 2 weeks ago, just realized and called today and they were still holding it waiting for us to return. Thank you Ana’s!
