Before I placed my order. I was told it would be a 25 minute wait. It was well worth the wait. This is some of the best chicken. I’ve ever had in Chicago. The breading was crispy and the chicken was moist. This was my first time going there I’ll be back.

Hole in the wall…but the chicken was definitely worth the visit! Crunchy is an understatement! Fries…mehh; but oddly that little communion coleslaw went perfectly with the chicken! Street parking only. They do accept phone orders. No dining in. Cash only. Fairly priced and they do offer a lunch special. Customer service was very welcoming. I would definitely recommend it for a quick bite to eat!

The young lady whom works the evening shift is intentionally running this business in the ground! When she is not present everything goes smooth! She purposely lefts phone off the hook or she’ll say “hold on” & never comes back to the line so she won’t have to do her job! I love the chicken but that staff member is ruining the business

While visiting Marlon’s Chicken on 75th, I placed an order and noticed the cashier holding a tray with fries and a piece of bread. She then dumped the fries into the fries holder. I quietly asked her through the glass why she did that, and she responded via the microphone that they save them for people experiencing homelessness and those with addictions. I was shocked, as were the two other patrons in the restaurant. I told her that they are still human beings deserving of respect.
To the owner: please address this issue, as it reflects your business. Mr. Marlon, I recall when you first opened your restaurant; your customer service was outstanding, and your establishment garnered praise on social media as one of the best on the South Side of Chicago.

Food is awesome!! Never had any issues. Service has alwayd been perfect..Worth the wait for fresh HOT food! They even walked my pan to my car!

I usually don’t expect much when I go to restaurants an hour before closing — most of the time, the staff has an attitude and the food isn’t fresh. But this place completely surprised me. The chicken was hot, fresh, and full of flavor — easily some of the best I’ve ever had in Chicago. The wings? Absolutely delicious. I highly recommend checking this spot out. They definitely earned my respect and a return visit!

Do yourselves a favor if you think Harold’s or any other chicken spot is the best hold off on that until you’ve had Marlon’s. Most chicken places have chicken breasts that are the same size as the thighs, NOT here. I am a chicken bone cleaner, every bite was seasoned and fried to the gods. My wife had their coleslaw she says its the best she’s ever had. I will be back. 25 dollars fed the family with leftovers remaining. The fries were even delicious I usually don’t touch fries from chicken spots. This is the very best place if you’re in the mood for some fried chicken. Im trying the whole menu.

Excellent I was a little worried because of how the place looked on the inside, but come to find out it was really good. Just a heads up call before coming otherwise you’ll be there for a good 35 to 45 Minutes. Worth the wait.

I’m usually a big fan of Marlon’s Chicken, especially their wings. I’ve been telling my mother that they’re even better than Harold’s! However, today’s order was a huge disappointment. I ordered two 4-piece wings and received FIVE wings… but they were TINY! Seriously, they were the size of pigeon wings. I was trying to impress my mom and you served us these baby wings. Hopefully, this was just a one-off, but it definitely lowered my opinion. Step it up!
