I’m a regular here. Their Happy Hour Rigatoni with light salt is the best! Today, my server, Morgan, went above and beyond and surprised me with a candle for my birthday dessert. What a lovely touch! I love this restaurant—the vibe, the food, and the service are all amazing. Highly recommend this place!

This is a very delicious and hip restaurant. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, giving honest answers about their favorite dishes. You can tell they are excited about the food in this restaurant. Everything we ordered was immaculate and perfectly plated. The mocktail I ordered was divine and they had N/A beer. We ordered the smoked fish on toast, the beef Carpacio Salad with anchovy aoli, the Beet salad with whole walnuts and a whole side of the bowl smeared with a very sufficient amount of whipped ricotta and the perfect spicy sausage rogatoni. We finished with a nice strong espresso and the best homemade tiramisu I have ever had. All along with a very clean, modern atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating, in addition to a rentable private dining room. This place greatly exceeded our expectations. I cannot wait to go back for more.

Visited this place twice and both times have been impressive. Pasta is made in front of you at the restaurant. Tuna tartare is exquisite. Cocktails are great. Staff is very professional. I recognized a couple servers from other restaurants in the past; They seem to hire highly experienced staff. In the summer, they have a patio overlooking the park and you can watch the stage with whatever performances happening there. This is a place to revisit over and over.

I want to be very clear that the ONLY reason I am leaving a 5 star review was because of our wonderful server, Ginger, who was extremely attentive, kind, pleasant, and helpful. The rest of the evening was some what of a disappointment as we had reservations at 9 and didn’t get to our table until well after 9:30. Whatever. It was Valentine’s day so we tried to be understanding. Our food took almost an hour to get to us after ordering. The food was okay but seemed egregiously over-priced. The only bright spot was our wonderful server. Kudos to Ginger! -Lindsey P.

Stopped in on Christmas Eve with my family and really enjoyed their apps & pasta. We loved the beets, meatballs and focaccia! Also tried several pasta dishes and they serve big portions, with pasta made in house (and you can tell! The texture is perfection). We didn’t love the tiramisu, but we are pretty picky. I appreciate they use lady fingers instead of cake, but some weren’t soaked through with espresso and it needed twice the cream. Still yummy though! We will be back! Happy Redmond has another great Italian spot.

We happened to arrive during happy hour in the afternoon, so we ordered cocktails and pasta — everything was delicious. The ambiance was great, and everyone was super friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Went there on a Saturday with a reservation made for 1.5 hours. Got there on time where we were not greeted by staff or hostess, with mutiple parties waiting behind us also to be seated. We had to request water to be brought to the table after being seated for 10 min. Service was so slow. Our waiter ginger was great and personable so I do not blame them, but being a part of the customer service industry communicating with customers is highly important to prevent upset. We had to ask about our food since it was over an hour after we ordered and still no main course. They forgot to check our order and when they did remember, they were still 2 tickets behind. There were multiple tables open as well, I’ve been to busier restaurants with better service. At that point we had to ask for our food to be boxed to get to a show. On top of that a 20% gratuity was added automatically, which was very unfortunate since we did not even have the luxury of eating in the restaurant. No apologies or compensation or even a reason given for the lack of service other than “the day was crazy”. Unacceptable service.

Came here for a date night, partner and I ordered two bowls of rigatoni and salad. Waited 1hr and 30 minutes for our meals only for the pasta to be hard and look rushed. After speaking up, they comped my barely touched pasta, but still had my boyfriend pay $70 for an over dressed salad and also hard pasta. Very disappointing experience, killed the date. Worst dining experience my partner and I have ever had.

First time at Tavolata, was blown away by the food. We tried the beets (SO amazing), the bread, olives, papardelle (my personal favorite) and the rigatoni! The pasta is made fresh in house, and the service was impeccable. Ginger was so thoughtful, helping us celebrate a birthday, giving intentional menu recommendations and having such a sunny demeanor. I will definitely be back!
