Whoever the short older Hispanic man with the tattoos is behind the counter, Do everything you can to retain his employment with you. He exhibits fantastic customer service and if my 10 stores were closer I would most definitely be trying to recruit him to work for me.

This is by far the best golden chick I have been too. Super clean, the host on receipt is named Dezarae and she did a great job providing great customer service. The staff is not loud and polite. The food was fresh and the host even brought us the food to our table. I am impressed.

I’m a long time customer. Just moved to mesquite and decided to visit Cartwright location. Bought a family meal and 6 extra rolls. When I got home the rolls were missing. We had enough for the meal so figured i would go back next day. I had the receipt but they refused to give me the rolls. There are other places that serve chicken. I won’t be back. Too bad..

This has been our fav location for 2 years idk who they have managing now but my order is wrong every time I go there now. Tonight they forgot my fries and had my husband wait 20 minutes for gravy. I prefer going to this Golden Chick than the one in Davis St because they make the best rolls!!!! If you’re craving for a sweet buttery delicious rolls… go to this Golden Chick! You won’t regret. Their fried chicken is good as well and so is their chicken salad. Wrap their chicken salad with lettuce and you’ll enjoy it better. Anyway, it’s really their rolls that make me come back all the time. Whoever makes the rolls, please don’t quit!!! And thank you!!!

Went in at 7:30 on a Friday evening and was going to eat inside and was told the lobby was closed despite the hours posted stating they close at 9. The person behind the counter was rude and gave no explanation for the lobby closing an hr and half before it should. We decided to give this location another chance after being given the complete wrong order before and them being out of chicken at 6 in the evening. After this incident I won’t be going back and highly recommend people not go here.

Visited this location tonight and I have to say this will be my last. According to the past 6 months of all reviews basically addressing the same issue of quality of food which means there has been no corrective actions taken. I purchased 2 tender combo meals with fried okra as my side. The okra was hard and dried out as if it had been under the heating lamp half the day, the roll was dry and harder than a biscuit. I immediately took it back and encountered a rude manager Natalie who basically in my face told me it was still good and fresh I encouraged her to touch it and see for herself. Never once apologized for the inconvenience nor assured me she would make it right. I received another batch of okra that was sitting in the bin already and 2 more hard rolls. Needless to say none of the food wasn’t fresh. They may need a health inspection to take place real soon.

Fish was so hard and dried out. Shrimp was too. Both was so small. Honestly could’ve went to captain d’s for better food. For $12.99 this was ridiculous.

Literally sitting outside after ordering some sides. It’s 840pm and the staff locks the doors from entering. My son needed to use the restroom and we were not able to get in to use the restroom. The open neon sign is still on, the hours on the door shows open till 10pm. Checked with Google to make sure I’m not missing anything. It says the same thing. Does not say on either doors that they have specific dine in hours. Some gentleman sitting down in the booth just watching us trying to open the doors to get in to use the restroom (after all we did just pay to get their food). People are pulling up to get in to order food and were just as confused as we were. However drive thru was still operational. They did not bother to let us know they were closing early, or had a meeting, or whatever the case may be. Super disappointed.
