The overall experience was stressful. It felt like customers were expected to handle everything themselves, from placing orders quickly to managing pickup and cleanup. The service did not feel welcoming or accommodating.
The only highlight was the garden area, which is quite pretty. Unfortunately, that alone does not make up for the negative service experience.
I had one of the best vegetarian meals I’ve had in a long time. They do a lot of take out orders, I might do that next time because they are very busy and I don’t want to be rushed to finish my meal.
The service was careless, dismissive, and showed no regard for making guests feel welcome or valued. What stood out most to me was that this wasn’t just one individual having an off night — it felt systemic. In my opinion, the owner either has no business being in hospitality or is completely burnt out, because that lack of care and professionalism is clearly rubbing off on the staff. The result is a toxic environment that guests can feel immediately.
Dining out should be about more than just food — it’s about how you’re treated, how you’re made to feel, and whether you leave wanting to return. This place missed on all fronts. I genuinely hope someone within their organization takes this feedback seriously, reevaluates their approach, and begins to prioritize what truly matters: giving every guest the best experience possible.
Stand outs for me were the Mexican corn chowder, agua de jamaica and their green sauce. The chowder was so light and crisp with big chunks of corn cut off the cob.
I’d absolutely come back!
