TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

SUCH GOOD FOOD! I ordered the Regular Top-Loaded Spicy Buffalo Mac which came with 6 Hot chicken pieces, delicious mac n’ cheese and fries, with a drizzle of the buffalo sauce. It was so frickin’ good. Last time I went to Dave’s Hot Chicken, I ordered the “Medium” which was not too spicy so I tried the “Hot” this time but boy, oh boy, the “Hot” was spicyyy. It was so good though. If you can tolerate spice, I would recommend getting the “Hot” option. Everything was served so fresh and although it took about 20-30 minutes of a wait, it was worth it.

I had a great experience at Day’s Hot Chicken! The food was delicious and fresh, but what really stood out was the customer service. Jessica, the cashier, was extremely pleasant, welcoming, and had such a positive attitude. She made the whole experience feel warm and inviting from the moment I walked in. It’s always nice when someone takes the time to be genuinely kind and helpful. Great food and great service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Never been here before place is basically new but I like the aesthetic and the staff is very pleasant and even helped my brother come up with what he would want. She made it sound good unfortunately I didn’t catch the girls’s name but their customer service is on point and the portions they’re great for the price overall really good experience. I I tried Dave’s Hot Chicken for the first time, and it was a great experience! We chose the “hot” level, which had just the right amount of spice and not too overwhelming. The chicken sliders were delicious, with crispy, juicy chicken, soft buns, and tangy pickles. The fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned, and the mac and cheese tasted homemade. Dave’s Sauce added a nice extra kick. I’ll definitely be back!

I enjoyed my ice cream shake. It’s on the thick side, but good. One kid said the fries were way too salty. The other said the chicken sandwich was just ok. The service was a little slow. It’s not inexpensive. One meal, one fry and a shake ran me over $30.

I had an amazing experience at Dave’s Hot Chicken in Union thanks to Jessica! From the moment I placed my order, she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was friendly, attentive, and truly cared about providing excellent customer service. She took the time to double-check my order, answered my questions with patience, and made sure I left completely satisfied. First time trying this place after hearing all the hype around it. To begin the staff is super Duper friendly and greet you at the door. My order took about five minutes and it was hot and fresh and absolutely delicious. I did the extra hot tender one medium sandwich one hot sandwich. I think my favorite was the hot.
