I love this place. The sushi is amazing. Their PHO days are the best. Great family atmosphere. Amazing staff. The food is always on point. I definitely recommend this establishment.

This is a place to go for some of the best hole in the wall Asian cuisine. It pays homage to the classics you get walking the side streets of Japan and China. The service is great. They are friendly. Went with my friends for the first time. One of them was late of course. And they came and made sure we were okay while waiting for him. They do have some odd hours and their kids can be there depending on the time. But that is all part of the nostalgia. Being that it is common to raise kids in the family business. So if small, simple, hole in the wall, family orientated is not your thing. Then don’t bother stopping by.

Ordered 4 dishes. We couldn’t really tell any difference in the taste from one dish to the other. My 2 year old ate the “spicy” dish without even batting an eye. 2 came out, then the other 2 about 5 minutes later. Never refilled our waters or even asked. Asked for extra napkins when first 2 dishes arrived. After 20 minutes, I finally had my daughter grab some from the table next to us and then the waitress finally brought some (after she saw my daughter take them). They added a 18 percent tip. When I had them remove it and stated I would add my own tip (service was NOT THAT GREAT), they argued with me. It wasn’t very busy either, there were only 3 other tables at the time. I suggest the Maple Garden on the east side of town (same prices, more and better food).

Went there for the first time yesterday. My family, four children, my husband, and myself, went for dinner. Kids meals are for kids 5 and under so we decided to order soup and one single meal for the 4 of them to share. Service was subpar, but they still felt the need to charge us an 18% tip. This is ridiculous, considering over half the table was children that didn’t get refills and I had to split up their food. The owner needs to reevaluate what is considered a party vs a family of 6 eating out. They would also make more money is kids meals were for 12 and under. The service was not worth the 20 tip they included into my price, but the food was worth about 75% of the price. Won’t be going back until they rethink what’s work and worthy of a tip

Their food is AMAZING!!!!!! I was definitely pleasantly surprised with this place and I am pretty picky with my sushi and Chinese food. Oh, and did I mention they have Thai Tea. I can’t find it anywhere else and thank goodness it’s also really good here. For you szechuan lovers out there, Umami’s has the best szechuan chicken I’ve had in a LONG time. I can’t believe I waited a year to try this place and now I can’t wait to go back.

The 1st few times I have eaten here have been great. Those visits were around the time this place 1st opened. Came here today to food that seemed sub-standard compared to my last visit. Add to that the sign posted that there was no longer wait service, the service wasn’t friendly at all and the owner’s kids were just running all over the place.. probably my last time here.

Food is good, however, service, hours and consistency are terrible. Prices go up every time I visit, doesn’t matter what the menu says (even the one provided to you at the restaurant) you will pay what ever price they claim at that time. Also only have one guy who can make sushi, if he’s on vacation or just not there that day, sushi will not be available. This place was packed when they first opened and slowly watching them dwindle away…

Sushi is good. Ambiance is lacking. Food is served on paper plates with plastic silverware and plastic cups which are located on one of the tables that you have to grab yourself. Not a great eating experience.

The sushi is fantastic! Definitely the best place to get sushi in Great Falls! The atmosphere and customer service isn’t quite as stellar.
