It always feels homey as soon as I step foot in here. I’m always greeted with a smile and handled with patience. They have some of the best burgers in the city, and they are huge!! I have them cut mine in half lol The food is always fresh and cooked to order. I would recommend anytime, any day.

I came here 2 days in a row, wasn’t able to make it 3 days like I originally wanted to. The cheeseburger was one of the best I’ve had. The fries were fresh and crispy. Everything was fresh and had great quality. My wife had the Philly cheese steak and said it was the best she’s ever had. Staff was very friendly. Definitely will come back next time I’m in town.

If looks could be deceiving! This place has the best food by far! Their hamberger steak with grilled onions makes my mouth water thinking about it. Their hambergers are really delicious also. The deserts are so very tasty. You would think your grandmother was working in the kitchen. Hopefully, your grandmothers are good cooks because mine were! I’ve only seen one lady at the counter who takes and brings out your order. You couldn’t ask for a more pleasant and kind lady. She makes you feel at home and always remembers your name. Even on a telephone to-go order. The inside, what I have seen, is always clean. The outside could use a bit of a clean-up, not that it’s dirty,but a remodeling job wouldn’t hurt. I think it’s been that way for at least 20 or more years! By all means,in my opinion, it’s a diamond in the rough.

Great place to eat. I use to go to Armando’s for lunch years ago when I worked in the area. It’s been at least 12-15 years since I had been to one but unlike seems like almost every other business, they have changed very little. The food is still great, burgers are very big ( had to take half home for later), tomatoes were fresh cut, two large slices…. what a good hamburger use to be but hard to find if you’re not close to a Armando’s.

Beth, I hope you improve your customer service in the future. The way you spoke in the background while I was on the phone was uncalled for and quite unpleasant. I visit your establishment at least once a week and spend over $20 every time. Please be mindful of how you speak and respond to customers, as you never know who they may be or who they may know. I don’t understand how you have managed to keep going with such a negative attitude. This is not the first time I have experienced it from you. I knew exactly who you were behind the scenes because you always have this NASTY attitude. It makes me feel unwelcome. I feel sorry for the staff who have to work under you because they are all so nice and kind. I won’t blame them for your poor ethics. The request I was asking of was nothing major! I will not come back here and I will tell everyone I know to not come here !

Best food around. Exceptionally friendly staff, some of which have been working there for 15+ years. Great small restaurant with fresh, made to order, home cooked food. I’ve actually eaten there twice this week it was so good. I recommend the hamburger steak or the country fried steak. The food comes in very generous portions. They have the best sweet tea in the south! For dessert I recommend their chess bars. They are to die for!

I ate there today and it was awesome! I had ribs, fried okra and potato salad. Sandy had the brisket, coleslaw and mashed potatoes. Portions were great and came out hot! Employees very friendly, the place was clean and the prices were VERY reasonable. Will be eating there again and would recommend to any of my family and friends to try this resturant if they haven’t already!!!
