Musiro is our go-to place for Korean fare in Carrollton’s Koreantown. Their service is predictable, friendly and efficient. Their food is good Korean food. When three of us go, one of us will order the special mixed rice for only 9.99, and the others will order soft tofu and beef and something else. The total bill for there including tax would be around $40. We’re usually satisfied.

Absolutely delicious and filling. Spent time here with family and we ordered short ribs, tutteuboki, bulgogi, and dumplings. The main dishes came with a variety of side dishes like rice, kimchi, bean sprouts, noodles, and more, all of which left me full and content. The service was very respectful and polite, no complaints there. On top of that, the atmosphere was very inviting and comfortable. Overall, 10/10 and have recommended to friends.

We were greeted by a waitress, from the other end of the restaurant, upon entering the restaurant, and were assigned a table. She just pointed to a table and we walked to that table. She came to take our drinks order, almost right away. It took her about 30 minutes to take our food order and other 30 minutes to deliver our food. I wasn’t very hungry when we walked in, I was starving by the time they brought our food. I am uneducated when it comes to using chopsticks, so I requested a fork. It took them other 15-20 minutes to deliver my fork. We requested to go boxes, to my surprise they give you the smallest take out box available!!! I was sure our left over food wouldn’t fit in those boxes so I requested two more, the waitress REFUSED to give us more boxes!!!! She assured me everything would fit in those tiny boxes. The food is good, the service not as much. This will be our fist and last.

I had the Gamjatang, it was average in terms of both quality and taste. You can find the same Gamjatang in most other restaurants in the vicinity. The ribs are pricy but I feel you don’t get your money’s worth in terms of the quality and portion. I am speaking relatively to other restaurants, Musiro is still not bad at all, but it was simply average.

It’s rare that I have a bad customer experience but once in a while it happens. Unfortunately, Musiro was that experience. One of the waitresses served me and my family of three and we ordered a decent amount: ribs, steamed dumplings, rice, tea. Throughout the ordering process, she quickly collected our menus and left without a word. She didn’t even ask whether we wanted vegetable or meat dumplings.
Even if from a profit perspective, which our table alone was nearly $50 worth, I’d hardly understand why we were given such a cold shoulder.
The waitress never spoke to us as if we had offended her in some form. She served us quite hastily and after a while, someone else had replaced her who was equally just as quiet and reserved from us. Contrarily, these two same waitresses were very verbal and open with another table adjacent to us.
Quite frankly, this poor customer service ruined the experience as a whole. You can’t really appreciate the taste of the food if you’ve just been given the customer service version of a scowl.
I left a tip out of principle but we will not be returning.

Ordered teriyaki chicken. Flavor was very disappointing, you could hardly taste any teriyaki. It tasted as if they cooked the pieces of chicken with no spices and afterwards just barely poured the sauce over it.

I’ve been here a handful of times and every time the food is phenomenal and the service is top notch. You never go without here, they are very attentive and provide for every need. Highlights are the La Galbi (beef short rib) and bulgogi bowl. This place is a Carrollton staple for me.

08/02: took my mother here and this time we had the dolsot bibimbap (mother loved it), seafood pancake (more green onions than seafood), and the grilled mackerel (huge). So, was a little disappointed with the pancake but everything else was very good, just pricey!
Their cold noodles are so good here! We also had the short rib/ramen combo, beef bulgogi, and spicy pork. They also had the purple rice when we requested (for a fee for the noodles/entree combo). Pricey for lunch but tasty!
