I love a good calzone and this place has it! A simple pepperoni and sausage with cheese hit the spot. The chicken tenders were thin and well breaded. My daughter wasn’t a fan. They could have been a little juicier but did have good flavor. There was one waitress for the day and she was kept busy.

I don’t live in Van Buren county but visit often. I’ve driven past this restaurant a hundred times and thought it just looked plain and not enticing. Someone recommended to try it and I was glad we did. It’s very nice on the inside, food is very good and service was wonderful. I got a calzone and it was so good! Tenderloin was big and good also.I will be back!

Stopped in during the Villages of Van Buren County Scenic Drive Festival and was 100% blown away with the food, atmosphere and staff. We ordered a variety of things from burgers to steak sandwiches to pizza. We will definitely be coming back and recommend this anyone if there are in the area.

If you actually want to eat dinner, I suggest you consider going elsewhere. Ordered hamburger and fries for two people, over an hour and a half and stilll waiting.

All had different food and thought it was delicious. Friendly staff. Fair pricing. Nice atmosphere. Parking is scarce for that neighborhood. No area to sit/stand when waiting to for open seating. Waiting to pay can also cause a standing backup. People are noticing how great their food is so it’s time to build on and hire away!

Thursday 8/29 around 5pm I ordered a large mega meat pizza without beef and we drove the 20 minutes to get it. On our way home we each had 2 pieces. It was the worst pizza. Hardly any sauce. The Italian sausage was questionable. The cheese was barely melted. My crust was half raw and it was an outside square piece. Around 730pm I started feeling sick to my stomach and my husband started feeling bad shortly after. I’m still sick and have tried to call but can’t get anyone to answer. We don’t get to eat at Riverbend very often because we don’t live in Keosauqua anymore. This is the 2nd time we had bad pizza.
