I ordered lunch from Punjab Palace today, and the food was delicious. I ordered the butter chicken with naan, and everything was excellent—the chicken was tender and succulent, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the portion was very generous. I’ll easily get three meals out of this one order. As someone just passing through town, this is my best food memory so far, from my trip. If I lived in Meridian, I would probably eat at Punjab twice a week. I meant to take a photo of the food, but I was so hungry I forgot!

Delicious and authentic dishes at reasonable prices. The building is nothing fancy, but in my experience, the best ethnic food comes from places that focus on quality, rather than fancy decor. The butter chicken was perfect, as was the garlic naan. Highly recommended. If you have never tried Indian cuisine, this is the place to give it a chance.

The food was delish but let me tell you one thing! It was so hot in that place! The air was non-existent, but the food made up for it. It was a true definition of hot and spicy! I got the garlic naan and butter chicken. The naan was fresh and hot off the grill! The butter chicken only complaint I have it wasn’t enough but it was amazing in flavor!

I believe Meridian got lucky with this Indian restaurant! It is the best one I have been to and I always try to find a Indian restaurant everywhere I go! The food is fresh, the flavor is hittin, the portion sizes are great, and the mango lassi is the best I have ever had. This hole in the wall place is so worth the price. I don’t think you can find a authentic and fresh place like this!

AMAZING! I went with some friends who had never eaten Indian. They were skeptical, but I assured them that it would either be an amazing culinary experience or terrible. It blew them away (and me). I’ve traveled throughout India and was thoroughly impressed with Punjab Palace.
We ordered the chicken korma, chicken saag, chicken tikka masala, and jalfrezi, which were phenomenal. The garlic naan was on point.
Don’t let the ambiance deter you; Punjab Palace is completely worth your time and tastebuds!

Sort of an unsuspecting spot, nestled beside/behind a hotel. As soon as you open the door, the strong aroma of Mediterranean food dominates the nose. The restaraunt had no dine-in customers during my visit. The interior appears very old and well traveled. The carpet is very dingy and mostly stained/soiled from years and years of age/use. A nice older gentleman eventually came from the back, what I assume is the kitchen area, to greet and seat me. He allowed me a moment with the menu and promptly returned to take my order. He understood my order, however it was hard to understand his speech. He was kind though. I ordered the butter chicken, chicken korma & a side of garlic naan TO-GO. It was delicious! I would highly recommend the food here. I may try ordering something new if I visit again, since my first dishes were so tasty.

This place is a hole in the wall but truly a gem. The server was friendly and kind, the place was very clean inside and the food was AMAZING. This may be some of the best Indian giod I’ve had and I’ve traveled around the U.S. I’m not from here but this is one thing I’ll miss. Don’t let the outside put you off this place is SOOOOOO good.
