Very authentic and obviously patronized mostly by Spanish speakers, because they had to get someone from the back who could help us construct a vegetarian option. The food was fantastic and homemade. Pros: Good Service, BYOB, English Speaking for non Hispanic, Authentic Food, Great Guacamole, Great Burritos, Pico de Gallo and Salsa Verde y Roja, jorchata, reasonable prices! Sometimes have singers / live music ( Sat. Or Sun.)
Cons: Menu has no prices, you need to ask. It should be posted. You need to take the time to ask if dishes have pork, etc. It is not always clear on the menu. Chicken not always tender or tasty with the Burritos.
Not air-conditioned well. Bathroom could be cleaner.
Over all a simple, great place for Authentic Mexican Food.

This is by far the worst Mexican restaurant in Toms River. The food was cold and stale, completely disappointing. There were literally four people working at the front, but we had to get up and ask for everything because they just stayed in the back and didn’t check on us at all even after ten or more minutes. The service was slow, unorganized, and frustrating. I’ve been to plenty of Mexican restaurants, but this was truly a horrible experience from start to finish. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
