Very disappointing experience. We ordered two chicken strip baskets and clearly stated twice that we wanted two large Sprites. When our food came out, there were no drinks. When we asked about them, the employee said the baskets don’t come with drinks, even though we had already ordered the Sprites separately and repeated it twice.
The interaction felt unnecessarily argumentative instead of just fixing the mistake. To make matters worse, the sauces were put in the wrong baskets.
For a simple order, this shouldn’t have been that difficult. Accuracy and basic customer service were lacking.

Stopped in for dinner and dessert and everything was great! The sweet chili chicken strips were hot, crispy, and full of flavor, and of course we couldn’t skip the Blizzards — both were perfect. The place looks clean and well-run, and the new management is off to a great start. The owner even greeted us when we came in, which made it feel extra welcoming. Excited to see this DQ thriving under new ownership!

I ordered DoorDash and I understand the rush during lunch or really anytime of the day but I still think quality and being aware of your surroundings is a big part of a job like this. My spoon was somehow mistakenly staple inside the bag so when I pulled the bag apart to open it I did not notice the staple was in the spoon. I took a lovely bite of my Oreo blizzard and got a staple in my lip instead. This could’ve been so much worse. Thankfully it wasn’t but I am just in shock.

I stopped in this weekend to eat from being on the road . And just have to express how much of a delight it was to chose Diary Queen. There is a young gentleman by the name of Jacob G. And you can tell this kid works hard and does a great job ! I really appreciate the fact that he was presentable, approachable and show cased great customer service ! 10/10 I was was pleased with the atmosphere and the food .

The fried food was good; it was hot and fresh. The side salad was mostly inedible due to the wilted lettuce and dried out cabbage and carrots. It was hard to find a table that wasn’t dirty. Small thing here, but the Ames, IA ranch dip is much better. This ranch dip tasted like some odd generic brand instead of house made.

Food was on par for Dairy Queen. Only went through drive through so don’t know how the inside was. We were handed the wrong order initially, and it took a few minutes for them to realize we were still at the window. We handed the food back, and they immediately came out to hand it to another patron who had pulled up. We could have tampered with that food and nobody would have known, and they still handed it out to someone else. In total, we sat at the window for approximately 10 minutes waiting for our food, which was a single meal. It was piping hot which is a good sign but seeing how they treated the other customer’s order does not install confidence in this location’s food safety.

Ordered 3 regular tenderloin meals in the drive thru.1 car was in front of us. Don’t know what they ordered but it took awhile. All that aside,I knew it would take a while to prepare our order. I was prepared for a mediocre lunch. Dairy queens version of the tenderloin is worth the visit. The bread compliments the pork tenderloin and condiments. Everything was fresh and well worth the wait.
