All of the salsas at the bar taste great, but be warned that the salsa macha is extremely spicy. I LOVED it. Taqueria Maria is the first Mexican place I’ve tried in the Atlanta metro that isn’t afraid to set their customers on fire and I respect them for it.

Highly recommend! I myself am extremely selective but this place is amazing! My daughter had the chicken sopes soooo delicious, yes I share. We got the flautas and they were perfect We also got the barbacoa which was a fav with their homemade corn tortillas The service was great even though they had a line shortly after we ordered. Oh almost forgot their coffee was wonderful strong but wonderful and thats that I hate coffee. Try it, they will definitely be a favorite.

So good. Real authentic tacos, hand made tortillas , meat seasoning is on point and salsas are actually spicy but soooo good. Cant go wrong with the green one , agua fresca is the perfect beverage. Only had the tacos so far but going back to try different menu items

I’m giving them five stars because I placed a to go order for three tacos and rice and beans went to pump gas and everything was hot a ready by the time I got back.
As for my meal :
Asada Tacos 10/10 comes with GRILLED onions and cilantro
Grabbed the green and red hot salsa both were 10/10
Beans 8.8/10 comes with cheese crumbles melted on top
Rice 6/10 almost near perfect meal replace the rice and this restaurant probably top 10 if not top 20 hidden gem taco places .

Home made tortillas and salsa. Meats are very flavorful. Caritas is my favorite. This is definitely my go to taco spot. Best in Gwinnett.

Love their tacos! I tried carne asada and al pastor, both fire. The tortillas had a nice crisp to them. Much better than your standard soggy steamed corn tortilla. The rice and beans that come with the taco plate were well seasoned and portioned nicely. I also got a bean and cheese pupusa. The melt on the cheese was perfect and the outside had a lil crisp to it as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and will definitely go back.

I got tacos and they were great! I was helped by two ladies (one seemed to be a trainee) who were both patient while I decided what tacos to get. The poblano crema was 10/10! They have a lot to choose from on the menu, tortas, caldos, pozole rojo, muchos bebidas, etc. This is definitely my new taco spot!

Need better employees. The ones here take too long and get confused on which orders belong to who’s. Food was good but the service not so much. Had too order twice because the employee forgot to add it. Took 30 mins to receive a concha when it was literally infront of the cashier ready. She mentioned she kept forgetting. Had to remind her 3x and she put it in a to go bag even though I had mentioned to her earlier I was going to eat it here.
