Just picked up our food for thousandth time. Generous portions. Love this spot, always consistently quality food, dont change a thing. Pizza and subs are great. The mild wings have a delicious sauce that’s like tangy, we order nearly every Sunday during football season, extra crispy! Our other go to is tortellini DaVinci, cheese stuffed in a pink cream sauce, perfection! Chefs kiss

The food is great every time. My issue is that the last 10x I ordered from here, my order is never ready on time and I stand there 15-20 minutes every time. Tonight was no different. My pizza was ready and it looked like they totally forgot to make my non pizza items. Happens a lot. If the food was not so good, I would not keep going back. Most places when they forget stuff or keep you waiting do something nice like throw in garlic knots or a 2 liter. Not even an apology here.

Really hope Salvo’s sticks around for a while as many pizza places have come and gone in Holland between this location and the spot below Johnny Appleseeds. I’ve been getting the Primavera salad from Pizza Land for a while and I believe Salvo’s is just an extension of Pizza Land with a new name, owner and complete makeover of the interior. They blew out a wall and added a nice seating area and it looks really nice inside. Food has always been good, here’s to hoping they make it! This is my Primavera salad + grilled chicken

UPDATE: Downgrading to 1 star. This place charges 15% credit card fee! That is more than 2x the local sales tax!!! Ridicules! Food became much worse than anywhere around. Dry, ingredients not spread evenly, one bite is ok, the other one is just dough without ingredients. Needless to say, today was the last time we ordered from this place. Plenty of other good choices around that serve tasty food and don’t rip you off with 15% credit card fees!
Order lunch from this place periodically. The food is not consistent. Sometimes it is amazing, sometimes it’s just alright.
One somewhat annoying part is that you don’t always get charged the same price for the same thing. Sometimes it is about a $1 or $2 more than in the menus. Not a huge deal, but it is kind of annoying. You don’t know if the person overcharging you by mistake, because they don’t remember the correct price or if that’s done on purpose. A $1 or 2 on a $10 order is 10-20% difference. Other than that, this place is OK for occasional ordering.

This is the best pizzeria around. Anything I order is delicious from hogies, to pizza, to pasta. They have the best chicken noodle soup, real chicken and homemade!

We moved to Holland, PA, from Montgomery County in June of 2023. We looked for a pizza place nearby and tried Giovanni’s without knowing anything about it. We love it!!! It is the best pizza we have had in the area. We like the pizza, the roll, the garlic knots, and the mozzarella sticks.

Edit. Did you even read my review!! Do you really think I will order from you again when I ordered food from you and never got it!! Never got a phone call. Then when I did try calling again after over an hour wait both phone numbers hung up again. Needed to call my credit card to dispute payment which they rescended for me. No if I could give a zero that’s what you would get. You need to pay attention to these reviews yourself and not have a robot do so.

Don’t do it! This used to be salvos and was great food. It is now Holland pizza. Ordered delivery today. Pizza was a mushy mess. Way too much cheap cheese that couldn’t even be chewed. Cheesesteak was made with the wrong toppings. I did not ask for fried peppers. But it didn’t matter because it was also barely edible. Stay away! I’ll give them two stars just because I hope they are just a new business and just struggling a bit and need to work out some issues. But I won’t be going back and if they don’t improve I don’t think they will be in business very long.
