This was my first time at this restaurant and this is definitely a run don’t walk to place! First and most importantly the service and friendliness of the staff is second to none! Everyone was super kind and helpful in making selections for both food and drinks. I had the pleasure of getting served by Cara and Elliot and I hope the restaurant is using these people to train future workers.
I started with the Cajun barbecue shrimp which is phenomenal. And then I did the create your own pizza and went with sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, and red sauce. This is hands down the best pizza I have ever had in Bloomington and it’s near the top of the list in the entire state of Indiana that I have had so far. The crust is very airy, buttery and then crispy on the outside.
They have an awesome beer selection and I went with what I think they called a double Belgian. It’s absolutely amazing so make sure you try this.
Definitely going to make this place a staple every time I visit Bloomington in the future. But get in there and try their pizza and you can thank me later!

This was my first visit to Lennie’s. We had a reservation for a large party. We were taken upstairs, which was really nice. We had the whole upstairs to ourselves. The food came out in a timely fashion and everything was correct. I ordered the bacon turkey melt and it was fabulous. My boyfriend ordered the French onion soup and he was not disappointed. We will definitely try eating here again! I will mention that they do have “tofu”as an alternative to meat.

We ordered the spinach and artichoke tortas, a make-your-own pizza with jalapeños and hot italian sausage, and the soup of the day (loaded potato soup). All three were very delicious. Service was great. The only complaint is that the IU game was only playing on one smaller TV on the other side of the restaurant.

I have been coming to Lennie’s for years. The food is always delicious! Today was no exception!
Stromboli – create your own. I went with the Italian sausage, ricotta cheese, spinach, roasted portobello mushrooms. It was absolutely delicious.
House salad – I love the salads here. This features their homemade roasted red pepper dressing. It is very very good.
Wine – I went for the Cabernet. My very good friend chose the Chardonnay. The wine is very good, though it is also very pricey.
Spinach Artichoke Appetizer – my friend loves ordering this as her meal. I have had it before. It is very very good.
Overall the food is outstanding. The service is wonderful. The restaurant is very clean. It is a little pricey for lunch, but of course we each got two glasses of wine – so that’s four glasses total – which in turn adds to the expense of the lunch. I highly recommend this place!

One of our family favorites in Bloomington, IN. Turkey bacon sandwich is great. Other pub food is delicious. Open to families as well as bar seating. In the summer there is an outdoor seating area that is delightful. In fact we are going there for dinner tonight. Come join us. Great place to meet new friends. Being on Kirkwood is a great location. Street parking is only concern because it adds to cost.

My partner and I had an excellent eating experience at Lennie’s of Bloomington! from walking in the door and being greeted by two employees right away, seated and drink order taken in a timely manner. We asked for Rosé and sweet tea. Meal was served hot and excellent taste. Server was very friendly, once she learned it was my Birthday, she offered us a free dessert! I asked her to surprise me and she definitely did! With The Original Sin (House-made double chocolate brownie topped with locally-made vanilla bean ice cream, hot fudge, and caramel sauce) mmmm I mean how can I not be happy!! She also presented our check with two complimentary Hershey kisses! Her name is (Liz). So, thank you Liz and all the staff for making it a very positive experience for us! And I absolutely recommend that y’all check it out!

Lennie’s was a fantastic experience. This was my first time Lennie’s since they’veoved to this location and I cannot wait to return. They’re maintaining safe practice by taking everyone’s forehead temperature upon entry and offering safe distancing between tables. All staff were *appropriately* wearing masks which was ensuring.
The food was absolutely fantastic and the pricing was fair. They have a large pizza oven and a nice bar to enjoy drinks at your leisure. Will definitely be coming back.

I’m not sure why everyone rates this so well, but I thought the food was pretty basic and average. Portion size wasn’t great, and I think it was expensive for what you got. I got the portobello mushroom sandwich and it had hardly any mushrooms.
Basic, I will say, though the fries were really good.
My husband got the pizza, and even though it says it was brick oven I really honestly didn’t see any evidence of where it was brick. Almost like a frozen pizza thrown in the oven with added toppings thrown on top.
They did have a lot of drink options, so that was nice but really no specials
