The burgers were okay, the mac & cheese was made with a beer cheese (which would probably be good if you like a beer cheese) the fried pickles were not crisp but they had good flavor and a good dipping sauce, the pub chips tasted overcooked and too salty. The service was friendly but slow and I had to fight the flies for my food throughout the entire meal.

Wow this place is awesome if you love to wait until the group of 8 that you’re with is completely finished with their meal and you finally get yours. The only thing that makes it worse is the server that decided it was a good idea to repeatedly say that the kitchen was working on the burger and fries, only to watch at least four other burgers and fries go to other tables. Then when it arrives the order was wrong.

Now comes the cu de gras the server said she was going to get the manager after everyone at the table suggested a discount on the burger. She then came back (crying) and said that he took the burger off of my bill but later when I checked my credit card bill it was full price, which included a mandatory 20 percent tip for tables over 8 people.

So in summary if you like late, incorrect food, with a side of theft, come to the mad cow!!

We were in during lunch only two other tables in there so service was good but the food is very mediocre at best. Prices were way too high for the low quality of the food. We got pub chips which the chips themselves were good but the cheese they use on them isn’t very good. I got the hamburger on the pretzel bun with the bacon jam it wasn’t the worst. I also go the brisket dealio on the Texas toast it was terrible, the brisket was extremely tough I only ate the one piece. The lady got some sort of chicken salad which she thought was alright. I definitely would not waste my money on the food there again. Extremely disappointed. It was $75 before tip for the 4 items, 1 beer and coffee. If you wanna be at a bar and not eat it’s probably not a bad place to be. If you want food I’d recommend going elsewhere.

We had a fun time but when we left, our car got stuck in the snow. I went in and asked for a shovel and a man with a green coat I’m assuming was a manager, came out and helped us get it out. He was very nice and helped push it out. Thank you so much again, best service ever.

Mad Cow Bar & Grill is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is lively without being overwhelming, and the staff is genuinely friendly and attentive. The food was cooked to perfection—juicy burgers, flavorful wings, and sides that hit the spot. Drinks were poured strong and reasonably priced, and the service never missed a beat. Whether you’re stopping in for a casual dinner, watching a game, or just hanging out with friends, this place delivers every time. Highly recommend!

Came here for the 1st time, to spend time with my 2 sons. We were a tad taken back by the lack of AC. It was rather stuffy and warm in the bar area. The bartenders had a fan blowing on them… no other fans that I saw.

Even with the lack of comfort, we had amazing service, and the food was on point!!

We ordered the chips, guacamole, and salsa for the appetizer.
My sons ordered the wild hog grilled cheese and the Ribeye cheese steak, both with fries.
I enjoyed the Three Little Pigs with a ceaser salad.

Even though it was stuffy in there, the food made it all better!!!

I will totally return to enjoy this establishment on my next trip to Ohio!
Thank you so much for such a great experience!!

Food was excellent. Stopped by for dinner as we were passing through. The sliders were 3 different varieties and all were good. The tangles were very tasty. If I am in the area, I would definitely go back.

Quite excellent! Creative menu with some really good burger options (including basic burgers if that’s your thing). It’s the kind of place that could do well in a bigger city, so I hope the locals appreciate it! Serena took great care of us and made it a fun stop, then Bobbi took over and also did a great job! Would definitely come back if we were in town again.

Food was good. Was my 1st time here. But our server didn’t seem like she was happy here or happy to see us or check on us. But other than that the food was good.

We stopped in for lunch while riding the OTET and the special for the day was the Mad Cow burger. It was, hands down, the best burger I have ever eaten. The fries were also just perfect. Our server was kind and helpful. I can’t recommend this stop enough.
