We were on a road trip and wanted something to eat, so we decided on Popeyes since we don’t have one of those close to us. I ordered on the app and I got the online offer for the 6 piece tender 2 can dine, which was 6 tenders, 2 biscuits, and 2 small sides for $9.99 which is a really good deal. I also got a large mac and cheese. We ordered about 5 minutes before arriving because we didn’t realize how close we were to the location. This location is attached to a gas station/convenience store, and it was very nice and clean in there. We told the assistant manager that we put in a mobile order, and he said it would be a few minutes. About 10 minutes later, our food was ready. I was surprised to see we got some extra chicken tenders as well as an extra large mashed potato. I appreciated their generosity (or mistake?) but sadly I forgot some of the food in the car and had to throw it out.

Food quality was great, tasty & hot.

Cleanliness – at 1:30 pm, tables, not all cleaned & no one coming around, but at least 3 people working. Yes – I found lots of tables, clean and selected one of those.

I will eat at more Pompey’s in the future, but do enjoy it better when everything is just right.

This Popeyes is located inside the TA TRAVEL CENTER truck stop and is easily accessible from East end Westbound Interstate – 40 and East and Westbound US 64 by using Yadkinville Road ( US 601 ). Employees here have always been cheerful, courteous, friendly and helpful no matter what time of day or night that I have been there to eat. I have never eaten a bad meal here whether it was a chicken sandwich, a fish sandwich, an original or cajun chicken plate or a shrimp plate. Only complaint I have is the biscuits keep getting smaller!

Ate here for the first time in a while. It was fresh, and very good. We had to wait quite a bit for an empty store which was kind of disappointing. The good made up for it though because it was hot and delicious. I did enjoy it. Service could have been better. Place was very clean.

This location has prices WAY HIGHER than any other Popeyes at a TA or Petro location. So be prepared to get a Popeyes meal here for the price of a nice evening for 2 at a fancy restaurant. Not worth it. I’d give it a 0 Star if I could.

This place has the worst customer service. The employees are far from friendly or caring! Don’t expect to be greeted or thanked. The food was terrible…chicken tenders (if thats what you wanna call the slivers that was given to me) were undercooked and fries cold! Save yourself time and money by going elsewhere! No wonder this chain is closing restaurants….they fail to hire decent employees that are committed to the mission!

We had been to Mooresville and on our return, we stopped at the Popeyes in Mocksville. If we had known before exiting that it was attached to a TA truck stop, I would have vetoed. I never again want to hear that shower stall #23 is available without waiting. BUT this was a sprawling building and the Popeyes was on the end and had its own entrance and bathrooms, which were very clean. They have a big dining area by their counter and another huge dining area that separates them from the truck stop. We had drinks in the car so we got our food to go. Two classic chicken sandwiches and 5 tenders, no drinks or sides, cost $20.04. Pricey? Mmmmaybe. Delicious? Absolutely! The pictures show a thick juicy, whole breast. Not tenderloins, not half a breast and certainly not a mashed or preformed patty. The breading is crunchy and flavorful but you can see how thick the meat is in comparison. The tenders seem to have been pounded very thin but they were still good. The counter person was extremely patient with all the questions being posed by everyone. The menu board was on a rotation of items so it was difficult to remember what came with what. It was 2:30 and we had to wait for the sandwiches but they were fresh and hot. One little old lady seemed ready to rumble when a man got his food ahead of her. She literally said, “What? You think it’s your birthday?!” The counter person quickly pointed out that he had ordered what they had a supply of and the man was nice enough to just smile. Situation diffused. Sheesh people. Anyway, they have a very nice outside seating area on the Popeyes end, far from the building and away from the parking lot. They also have a fenced in pet exercise area, which I’ve never seen at a restaurant. I doubt we’ll be in this area again, but if we were, I would return.
NOTE: I now see commercials for the limited time offer of the Sandwiches N More Pack. $25 gets you 4 classic sandwiches, 4 tenders and 1 large side. That is an excellent value considering the sandwich is $4.79 each and 5 tenders were $9.19.

Health rating was 99.5 and employees wear masks.

Went inside to get a takeout orderWebsite says Closed today, but they’re open I just saw that when I got home with my order to do the review I ordered 12 pieces of chicken and got 8 pieces ordered 2 apple pies and two cherry pies and only got one apple pie and three cherry pies. Just want to get what we paid for my order was $62 but I didn’t get what I paid for. We live out of town so I could not go back today
