We were disappointed with our previous favorite Sichuan restaurant on our second visit there. We found this Michelin recommended restaurant as a replacement. We were very impressed. The quality was on par with the best restaurants in Asia, which is a rarity in the US. The beautifully photographed menu made item selection easy. The veggies even turned out better than the picture in the menu. They truly deserve all those awards on their wall. We will make it our regular chinese restaurant from now on.
My wife’s干煸肥肠was the best she had ever had.

Delightful dining experience at this Chinese restaurant in Millbrae that specializes in Sichuan cuisine. The menu is surprisingly extensive, despite the compact venue. The Sichuan cold noodles, Mapo tofu, and stir-fried cabbage were our favorites. If you like spicy food, this place is a must-try! Fast and friendly service. Plenty of free street parking within a 3-minute walk.

I have visited this place when they opened and I like the food then and now. Ordered vegetarian dishes, recommended steam fish since it was really fresh, dandan noodles, pork dumplings. Since I do not like the food spicy I asked them to make the food with no hot peppers at all. The food still was delicious

I’ve been looking for a restaurant serving this type of dishes since my favorite place closed. I went to a few places near me, but they were not at this caliber. Wow. Everything we ordered was delicious. Dandan noodles were just right with a touch of peanuts sauce. The mapo tofu was very flavorful with the right amount of heat and numbing spices. We also ordered the fish in chili oil. It had a lot of fish and again, it was very flavorful. There was street parking and a small parking lot behind the restaurant. I will definitely be going back to try the other items on the menu.

We tried a mix of Sichuan and Northern Chinese dishes at
Yummy Szechuan, and the flavors were impressive. However, as a spicy food fan, I found the Spicy Pork Ear, Chongqing Spicy Chili Chicken, and Mao Xue Wang a bit milder than I prefer.
If you’re like me and love extra heat, consider asking for more chili in these dishes. Despite the spice level, the quick service, varied flavors, and cozy atmosphere made the experience enjoyable. The Toothpick Lamb With Cumin, The Salted Egg with Golden Sand Prawns, and The Chongqing Spicy Chili Chicken stood out, even if they weren’t super spicy.

The spicy food here is delicious and authentic, and the spicy fish fillet is so delicious that it is worth recommending! But not spicy home-cooked dishes, steamed buns and fried dumplings are too ordinary, and there is no aftertaste. The serving speed is quite fast, and the hygiene is not bad.

Amazingly delicious authentic Chinese restaurant with a wide range of varieties: Szechuan food, Beijing food, South Chinese golden crabs, Western China spicy chicken, and North China dumplings and buns, and perfect household dishes. Free tea is available.
For customers who cannot accept spicy food, there are plenty of non-spicy choices and you even order less spicy for the spicy choices.
Street parking is available during the weekends.
Five star and will definitely revisit!

Had a great meal for lunch. The spicy beef was so tender. It basically melted in my mouth. Great tingly spice too. The Dan Dan noodles in spicy sauce was also really tasty. But my favorite part was definitely the dumplings in spicy sauce. It’s one of my favorite things when I am getting this style of food and they knocked it out of the dark. I could have drank the sauce. The staff was very nice. Definitely a spot worth supporting.

Came here on Wed night around 8pm. The restaurant is half full. They also have wait list on yelp. We joined the wait list before coming in, and got sitter immediately.
Street parking, and I think there is a small parking lot in the back.
Recent price considering the portion they gave you. The spicy flavor is on point. Overall very flavorful.
Friendly service.
If you want to order their signature eggplant dish, you need to call half day in advance.
