First, we made a special trip because weeks ago, I was told in some detail that the food could be battered in corn starch, thereby making it gluten free.
Well, I was told the opposite today so we’re not going back.
They are known for their food, not their friendly service so keep that in mind, as well.
We had gluten free walnut shrimp and the crispy Shanghai pork.
The shrimp dish is made with mayonnaise so I was not really a fan. During my gluten filled days, it was the spicy honey chicken which is usually to die for. This was a sad second choice.
The pork left my companion unimpressed. She liked the fried rice better and left most of the pork
Chicken dumplings and cream cheese wontons were great, soup was tasty and lemonade, even with a tinny aftertaste, was good.
I’ve eaten at Chins forever but it looks like today was my last visit.
So my suggestions from past experience would be the Ku Ting crispy shrimp and the spicy honey chicken. Both were favorites of mine and hopefully still fabulous.

Haven’t been here in years, but 18.95 for this box of Lo mein. I’m sure it’s less portion on our take out than dining in. We got lo mein, the walnut shrimp, and veggie rolls. Everything was so bland we had to add soy sauce to everything just so it didn’t taste like no flavor. The shrimp was also disappointing and we have had better at Panda Express. Very disappointed! 🙁

I work on the road so when I’m near one of their locations I like to get lunch, lots of food for a good price. The potstickers are a personal favorite, I can’t leave without an order. They are the best kept secret. Staff is really good at recommending dishes as there is a lot you can order and the food comes out quick.

Chin’s is a lovely place. Went there for lunch and it was more than enough. The flavors were great, the service was excellent and they even boxed your left overs. My only issue was the building shows it’s age – it’s been there forever. But it’s warm, cozy and authentic. Prices were what you’d expect for a very nice restaurant, but as I said earlier, the portions are very large.
Spice level is according to taste, I can take hot and this was spicy for me at a 4.
Great place to take a large group and they have tables that can accommodate.

The food is delicious. We went in a family of 5 and everyone got something different. From the egg rolls, to rice dishes to seafood dishes, it was fantastic. The ladies waiting on tables were so accommodating. They were nice and attentive. Beautiful place inside and not too loud. All 5 of us had a great time.

We did takeout but I was able to observe when I picked it up. Atmosphere is set up for families and dine in. Food was definitely above average compared to most Chinese restaurants you can order takeout/delivery from. All around I recommend stopping by or for takeout, especially if you’re a family.

1 star dont go
2 star is average food and would only go if you’re in a bind, or it had poor service, or it was very overpriced for the quality of food.
3 star above average. good rating for me. id go again.
4 star is great. lots of perks and bonuses and better than the average spot.
5 star is absolutely recommend and must go for a variety of reasons.

Beautiful and elegant dining experience with lunch specials. Sauces that the dishes were in were very flavorful and not heavy or overpowering. Battered chicken was light and not too thick. Everything was spot on, and Chin’s RB! Highly recommended you won’t be disappointed!

Food is excellent here. Service is very slow especially to be greeted when u first walk in. No one around and takes quite a bit of time to get someone to come out to seat you or pick up an order. Nice atmosphere. Parking can be an issue. Expensive.

The soup, chowmein, and eggplant were very tasty and delicious. The server was courteous, jolly and friendly. After lunch, we got surprised when the server served a surprised plate of beautifully arranged cookies and candle for the birthday celebrant.
