I came with a large group for dinner and had the privilege of eating in a private room with a view of the kitchen. This room was wonderful for connecting with table mates which was the point of that evening’s dinner. Our servers were cool and attentive. That said, I love food and I really wanted to love it from here.
My 8 oz filet mignon was perfect – that’s usually my test for if I will return to a steakhouse. I tasted my mom’s lamb chop and it was good as was the duck meatballs.
However, the Caesar salad, crab cake and broccolini were all too salty (and I can handle salt… I like salt, Parmesan AND lemon). The broccolini tasted like it was a little too crispy (you may be able to tell in my pic vs other reviews), the pistachio pesto didn’t really help the taste, and I was missing the lemon. The potato puree was okay… smooth but not too much flavor. Creamed spinach tasted like the spinach sat in water too long so it had no flavor except the Parmesan cheese it was drowning in (and I love spinach ).
The protein and service helped the stars on this one.

Wow, what an amazing dining experience! The drive over from Chapel Hill was so worth it.
We had company from out of town for the holidays and she’s used to eating at some great steakhouses and restaurants in Atlanta. She was blown away by Crawford Brothers as we all were.
After being warmly and professionally greeted by Brian and the front desk staff, we started by sharing a Caesar salad and a beet and endive salad. Both excellent, freshly prepared and perfectly dressed, perfect before a meal of steaks.
Our main orders included a filet mignon, another filet wrapped in bacon, and beef short ribs, with sides of broccolini and mushroom bread pudding.
Not exaggerating my bacon wrapped filet was memorably delicious. I hesitate to say it was the best steak I’ve ever had but it was.
The short ribs across from me were similarly delicious, and a huge portion.
The mushroom bread pudding was so moist and flavorful I could have made a meal out of it alone.
Was it expensive? Yes, but totally worth it. I’ve spent almost as much at a steakhouse in Chapel Hill and had an awful experience.
And our server Brian was polished, professional, and made spot on recommendations.
And the restaurant wasn’t so noisy you couldn’t enjoy a normal conversation.
Unfortunately we were too full to even think about dessert.
Can’t wait to get back.
(And the Fenton shopping area is a lovely place to walk a bit after eating).

Had an amazing experience at Crawford Brothers Steakhouse for my birthday. The Crawford restaurant line can do no wrong when it comes to food and it really shows at the steakhouse. Service was impeccable, drinks, apps, salad, and dessert were great. My NY strip was a little over my preferred medium rare, but it was still delicious. A bit pricey, but amazing special occasion or date night spot.

Wonderful time at Crawford Brothers! Did not have a single item of food that wasn’t perfectly cooked and everything was delicious! Food wasn’t the only plus, our server Anita was amazing! We were here celebrating and she really made it a good time and made sure to keep drinks refilled and was just really nice and had great energy. Worth every penny. Only remarks I had were that the halibut and side of scallops were a little salty and the side of bread with the Bone Marrow was a little too charred for my liking but the Wagyu Coulotte was scrumptious, Crab Cake and Oysters were PERFECT, and the Apple Bread Pudding blew us away. Seriously 10/10 night!

Amazing meal. Pricey but worth it. Had dinner at Crawford Brothers Steakhouse located in the Fenton shopping and dining area in Cary. Dined with friends to celebrate the holiday season. The atmosphere, the decor, the lighting, the servers and their attire give a very upscale feel. We had a nice table tucked away behind the bar area which felt private but not secluded. There was a large wine selection but only a handful of cocktails to choose from. Had the seasonal sour cocktail which was very nice; pisco, spiced pear, elderflower, and egg white. There were a number of appetizers and soup and salads that caught my eye but I was a bit deterred by the prices ($19 for sweet potato soup). Ended up ordering a wedge salad and sharing it. For main dishes I got a 6oz filet mignonette ($50) with a side of horseradish ($10). It was cooked perfectly to my liking. Perfect temperature and superior cut of meat. Very, very good. Another in the group got the lamb chops ($50) and also found them cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The other in our group got the pork chop. Although the server recommended the pork be cooked to still have a pink center, she requested it be cooked fully, which it was and she too was very happy with the taste and preparation. None of the entrées came with a side or sauce although you could order them extra. We saw another guest get the fries and wanted to try them as well. Unfortunately they were not brought out with the meal and the server came back to the table a few times indicating they were coming. Eventually they did arrive and were taken ooff the bill because of the untimely arrival. They were delicious. Cooked to have a light crispy outside and fluffy potato inside, coated with sea salt, black pepper, and herbs. With diner we ordered individual glasses of wine. It was nice to have the sommelier come to the table to help choose wines to pair with our chosen dishes.

I had a reservation on Friday at 5:00, and everything was excellent. Carolina provided amazing service. The food was delicious, and the drinks were perfectly made. The restaurant has a dark yet cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend the sweet potato soup, the ribeye, the meatballs, the spinach, and the baked Alaska. The steak was outstanding and cooked to a perfect medium-plus. Totally worth it.

This has become one of our new favorite restaurants and top three in the US (the top two have sentimental value that holds them higher). Not only would I say every single item we ordered was spectacular, but it was balanced with regard to texture, seasoning and temperature to perfection. Every dish was positively impactful ( the portions were substantial, we have enough brought home for a meal the next day) and was equally matched by the White glove service of all the staff, especially our waiter. Will definitely return to enjoy the great service, delicious food, and spectacular atmosphere / ambiance. NOTE: you have to see the ‘meat locker ‘ it’s what I’d imagine a billionaire would have.

Since Crawford and sons is at the top of my favorite restaurant list in Raleigh we figured we’d give this location a try and we were not disappointed! We started with oysters which were really good, they did give us one that was bad but they rectified that immediately. My drink was amazing, it had a kick to it which was perfectly balanced and delicious. We got a salad that was tasty. Of course the star of the show was their dry aged ribeye. It was perfectly cooked and just so good. We got the au povre sauce which was delicious. Their fries are also so tasty. The broccolini was very good, just a little saltier than I like. Since it was my birthday we ordered desserts which both were very good. The baked Alaska was a little smaller than what I’m used to and didn’t have ice cream which is traditionally inside but nonetheless it was very good, it is more like a keylime meringue. The carrot cake was phenomenal. I wanted more of the cream cheese and just more in general cause it is so good. We will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

Our waitress was a delight and our food was so good. I was specifically impressed that they had my favorite Hendricks gin as well (purple bottle / mid summer or something like that.) Not many places have that so it was awesome!

Exceptional dining, at a price. I couldn’t think of a better way to describe it. I loved being wined and dined and this place is it. Before coming here I thought other areas in the Triangle did it…nope. Crawford Brothers Steakhouse is where you come for just that. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable. The food, cocktails, desserts, pairings, etc. were all superb. What surprised me the most was probably the wine list. It is the most well thought out and unique wine list I have personally seen in quite a long time. We loved our meal from start to finish and will come back again when we’re ready to splurge.
