Absolutely loved my experience at The Seafood Bar Amsterdam! The food was excellent, super fresh, flavorful, and truly delicious. Every dish tasted high quality and beautifully prepared.
The service was outstanding, especially Irvan, who made us feel genuinely welcome and well taken care of throughout the meal. His attention and warmth really elevated the whole experience.
And a special thank you for the lovely surprise at the end, it was such a thoughtful touch and a perfect way to finish an already amazing visit. Will come again next time visiting Amsterdam. Highly recommended!

An excellent choice for seafood lovers in Amsterdam. The menu offers a great variety of dishes, all exceptionally fresh and of outstanding quality. Everything is cooked to perfection, showcasing real attention to detail. The staff is super friendly and genuinely goes out of their way to accommodate every request. The modern minimalist décor is stylish yet still feels warm and cosy, making the whole experience both refined and comfortable.

Food: had calamari which, for my taste, too fatty. Portion size was ok. The fish was good but supposed to come with a green sauce, but in reality there was no sauce but oil and herbs.

Okay, what can I say? Without exaggeration, the food was impeccable! Everything was fresh, the portions were generous and it was worth the money! The service was amazing! The staff were extremely helpful, polite, smiling and ready to answer any questions we had and recommend lots of delicious dishes!
A special thank you to Christina for her pleasant attitude and to Sev, the restaurant manager who took us on a journey through the restaurant’s flavors!

I have to start with the elephant, even though we had a reservation, it took the restaurant 15 minutes to seat us, and the rest of the service was kinda slow. Since the place was full the entire time we were there, I can’t fault the service staff, they were as efficient as could be, the owners need to hire more people.
Having said that, everything else was perfect. This place is part of a local chain and was highly recommended. You can see a lot of locals as well as tourists.
We went for the combination of cold seafood and grilled sea food, which gives a wide selection of different dishes. All of them were perfectly prepared. We especially like the raw and cooked salmon, the mussels, razor clams and the accompanying sauces.
We got a seafood Bloody Mary, with an oyster which was well mixed and the oyster goes along with it.
Dessert was a lemon crème brûlée which was tasty but the sugar was a little too burnt.
Overall I would recommend this place a lot!

A fabulous evening from start to finish! The Open table app said the restaurant was fully booked but we thought we would try our luck after our visit to the Van Gogh museum. Vanessa looked after us from the moment we walked in. Delicious oysters, seafood and champagne. Thank you for making our evening so enjoyable.

Fresh, delicious fish! The place is crowded and the service is great! Quick and professional! We tried the catch of the day Sol moneda and the mix grill platter and both are amazing! The dish serves one person and you might need an additional sharing appetiser if you are too hungry!

We passed by this place while walking around the neighborhood and saw it completely full, which is always a good sign. We went inside and sat at the bar, and Inés attended our needs. She was splendid and recommend the catch of the day (the sole meuniere) and we got the mixed grill. It’s was delicious! Sit at the bar if you want a quieter experience, and right in front of the action
The place is great and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Honestly, I’m surprised this place has so many great reviews because my experience was completely the opposite. When I walked in, there was only one person at the entrance, and I was completely ignored. A family ahead of me was immediately seated, but I had to wait and try to get someone’s attention—it took quite a while.
I was finally seated at the bar, which was fine since I was alone, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was an inconvenience. Everything, from getting a drink to ordering food, felt like a struggle, and the staff didn’t make me feel welcome at all.
