DELICIOUS DINNER
We had a wonderful dinner at the Sunroom in Chester. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. Our server, Christine, went the extra mile to make our evening so enjoyable. She really has a gift to make you feel welcomed!
We started with two appetizers: the Tuscan Dip and the Tuna Carpaccio. Both were great choices. For the main courses, we selected the Pan-Seared Halibut and the Pork Chop. Both dishes had a nice presentation and were delicious.
Desserts consisted of an Italian Flourless Cake and a Sorbet. They were both a great way to finish the evening.
I highly recommend the Sunroom Restaurant if you want to have a great dining experience.

What a way to spend thanksgiving, with family. Ok, it was not homemade in our kitchen! However; it was absolutely amazing, and Dean should be proud of the staff. The meal was delicious and plentiful! Our server was knowledgeable about the menu. Food, drinks came at a reasonable time. The mood of the restaurant was perfect for a family dinner. The decor is beautiful and warm. There aren’t many places in our small village, that you can feel like you’re being spoiled; at the sunroom you feel like you’re being spoiled. I would totally recommend this place anybody in the village or if you’re visiting from afar.

The food was incredible. Great portion sizes. Beef was cooked perfectly, Flatbread was incredible, salt level in the pasta was spot on and the scalloped sweet potato was a pleasant surprise for a side. Relaxed atmosphere. You don’t feel rushed here at all. A very enjoyable dinner experience.

We just ate at the Sunroom in Chester. If you are in this area you have to stop and eat here. Hands down one of the best meals I have ever had in my life. We had the halibut and the beef tenderloin. Melt in your mouth delicious. Very beautiful restaurant and the staff were lovely. Amazing restaurant. Would 100% recommend.

Enjoyed one of the best dinners ever this evening. Halibut with Vichyssoise sauce on a bed of fennel carrot purée, accompanied by steamed vegetables. Beautiful presentation. Absolutely delicious. Service excellent, atmosphere civilized, quiet.

Special place. The roasted chicken, haddock croquettes and chocolate cake were impressive. Our waitress, Miriam, was beyond pleasant. We had to meet the chef, Spencer to thank him for doing such an amazing job.

The hostess/waitress was lovely, welcoming and very attentive…great atmosphere, lovely dining room, however, the food we both ordered was awful….the chicken was moist, tender but tasted terrible and the tortellini was tasteless and awful. Presentation of both was great…just didn’t taste good! I am so disappointed to have to give this report on the food. The restaurant itself is beautiful with a lovely patio with charming black and white striped umbrellas… I would recommend a new chef/cook i am sorry to say.

Absolutely fantastic had one of the best meals out I have ever had. Staff were welcoming and efficient. Bathrooms were clean with spotless white towels, the chef Kevin produced an absolutely spectacular meal. They had just changed their menu the day before and we had asked for the creme brulee which had been on the old menu, they looked and still had a couple left, so glad they did it really was outstanding, they should put it back on the new menu. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant, we will definitely be back and bring family and friends.

The Sunroom is a delight. We were lucky enough to stay in the darling Inn for 3 nights and ate in the restaurant 2 of those nights. The Sunroom is a cozy upscale restaurant with a impeccable fun wait staff and food that can’t be beat. Start with a fantastic cocktail. The spiced cranberry margarita was awesome! As a starter the mussels are a must. The salmon puff pastry was another favorite from their fall menu. Make a special trip to Chester and stay in and dine in the Sunroom. It won’t disappoint!
