When I tell you they ROCKED MY WORLD!!! Wow, is an understatement. I appreciate the care they took in perfecting their recipes to incorporate excellent taste and presentation. Then the customer service was exceptional! This restaurant is an 11/10 for sure. We were a group of 3 and everyone ordered differently yet unanimously agreed all dishes were amazing! I will be recommending this restaurant whenever out of state guests come into town or anyone for that matter. I’m so glad I found this restaurant. Everyone was welcoming, the atmosphere of the restaurant was exceptional. Definitely a breath of fresh air when looking far and wide for a great dinner date with the girls or on a date.

First time visiting this place in New Haven, I was craving Thai food so decided to give it a try. I ordered a Thai iced tea, extra veggies, Drunken Noodles lunch plate which came with 2 dumplings and Chicken & ginger. So yummy and the service was phenomenal. Everyone was really nice and friendly. Will definitely be back again 🙂

Elite service. Phenomenal food. Ambiance always top notch. Love it here. Whether vegan, semi or flat out meat eater, there’s a fresh choice for you. Veg pancake might be the best appetizer I ever had in my life of its class. Not pictured, but a must order. Veg curry is also elite. Love the food authentic no doubt. Shouts to the 203 and New Haven for this Thai gem ✨️

Luckily we tried, a new to us, Thai restaurant on State St called Rice Pot. We liked it more than September.
It might turn into our go to for Thai in New Haven.
My husband usually doesn’t like Pad Thai, but because the rice noodles were perfectly al dente, he enjoyed them. The Thom Young Goong was tasty too. The red curry and hot basil chicken we wouldn’t order again (it was good) and instead would try something different.

Went there on a Thursday early evening and we were a party of six. Very friendly and attentive staff. I highly recommend their chaiya noodle soup. I’d visit again for sure to try more dishes!

My favorite place. Everything about The Rice Pot is wonderful. Fresh & generous portions, great lunch combos, gorgeous presentations. Well-priced, very clean and the kindest people. Bonus: a little parking lot next door! Easy on/off East Rock location. Best Som Tum in a long time. The special, crab fried rice, was incredible. Love!!

Nice place with nice food. Tofu sizzler was good. Drunken noodles were good too. Mango sticky rice was yummy and service was quick. They have their own parking. Food can be more spicier. Overall good experience.

Absolutely favorite Thai restaurant EVER. Everything they make is incredible. Some of the absolutely favorites include fresh rolls, crispy duck salad, tom yum soup and pretty much all the curries. great pad Thai and drunken noodles too! the place itself is very cute, and is tucked away at the very end do state street and conveniently close to the highway.

Decided to try this place based on the reviews I read here so I had to add my own. This place is so amazingly delicious! Best Pad Thai (with chicken) and drunken noodles (with veggies and tofu) I have ever had. Massaman curry (with chicken) was not our favorite, though. The ambiance is lovely, service fantastic, and even better food. Our search for Thai food is over. We will be back…probably tomorrow. 🙂
