This place has cool vibes and a lot to see and do for a brewery, but man was it a rough time. My partner fully gave up on ordering food after 25 minutes in the (very short) line- they definitely need to figure out how to better balance kitchen service. I did get a pizza and I’m on day 2 of it absolutely wrecking my stomach. Buyers beware… maybe just go for a drink.

Passing through from out of state and first time visit. Wood fired pizza was pretty good and the beer selection was also very good. I was able to try about 5 beers that I never had before. Staff was friendly. I will definitely visit again.

I stopped in to Brew Nation, also home to Lake Rat Brews. It is a brewery and casual eatery. The ordering is done at a counter, I am on a quest for the best submarine sandwich, so I went with that. Then over to the bar to choose a brew, I sampled a couple and found a tasty one. Probably best to open a tab at the food counter and charge the beers to it. Disc golf video was playing at the bar monitor, extra points for that. Anyways back to our table, the food came very quick. The sub bun was the best excellent. I would have preferred to have the sub browned a bit more, and a tomato sauce instead of or with the italian. Some melted cheese and a steak option would have topped it off for me. This store also houses a coffee shop, also sells coffee beans, mustard, and flavored jams with a slant on some hot pepped stuff. The is also a nice patio for nice weather eating.

Stopped in for first visit with two teenagers and reservations about whether or not they would find something on the menu they would enjoy. My niece has now declared she will only be eating woodfire pizzas from here on out! The toppings on the Italian stallion pizza were delicious- the sautéed onions and red peppers were a very nice touch. Those same onions found their way to the pulled pork nachos – the only thing that might have elevated those would be some sour cream drizzle. The salsa was nice – something a bit fruity (maybe cranberry?) I’ll need to ask the next time. My only other food critique would be on the Cuban sandwich. It was a bit fall-apart for me. I want it literally pressed and perhaps buttered on the bread. Turning a hoagie roll cut side out for toasting means a very smooth surface for the insides to slip off. And fall apart it did. More cheese, more sauce and plank pickles would be my suggestion. Along with a squeeze to set it all together a bit better. Flavors were great – especially the zip in the mustard! The nephew found a couple bites of our shared plates a bit spicy, but he thanked me for having him try something new.

Stopped in while driving around Grand Lake. Glad I did. Very nice casual place to hang out enjoy some food and a local brew (Lake Rat Brewing). Had the nachos and some brew juice. Great combination for a lazy summer afternoon.
Large seating area. There are outside tables that are probably used on weekends.
Definitely stop by if you are in the area

I’ve been here a few times and always have a great experience. Great food, great atmosphere, great vibes. It’s definitely the best hidden gem in the area.

Just unbelievably good food. My group got the pizza, the sausage sandwich, and a couple other items. Amazing! The fries were great and the dough on the pizza was exceptional! We stopped here traveling through Celina on a trip so unfortunately I can’t go back anytime soon but keep up the great work!

Do not recommend! Waited over an hour for fries, just fries. Was not busy when we ordered and multiple tables got their food before we did. They claimed they only had only 1 air fryer to cook all fried food, unsanitary if you ask me.
