Granny’s Diner has a classic, welcoming atmosphere with friendly service. Our food arrived promptly, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite hit the mark for us. The pancakes were thin and a bit rubbery, while the biscuit lacked flavor, and the gravy was thin and underwhelming. Overall, the meal was okay, but it didn’t leave us eager to return.

The food is so good! You can order one pancake instead of 3, as they are HUGE. My biscuits and gravy were cold and hard to cut, but after I asked to have them reheated, they came back soft and devine. The cook and waitress are super friendly and treat you better than family. We even got some free cake. Oh, and the coffee is good also. We will definitely be back.

If you like great food with the authentic atmosphere of a diner before smoking was banned, this is the place for you. They do not allow it in the restaurant, but it seems like the smoking area outside is blown into the restaurant and provides that nostalgic touch smokers may be missing.

Had breakfast then took lunch home. Breakfast is overpriced and under portioned. $9.50 special that is normally $11 includes 2 thin slices of sausage, 2 eggs, a scoop of potatoes, and 2 slices of toast. To get more meat is $5.
Service was nice but had to have things repeated and still got the to go order completely wrong.
Wondered why no reviews had pictures of their burgers. They are preformed, frozen patties with no seasoning. Cheeseburger will cost you $8.50. Onion rings were decent, fries were not. Go to Wendy’s. Won’t be back.

The biscuits are dense and flat but the gravy has a good flavor, the sausage links weren’t very good but the goetta was amazing, orange juice was undrinkable but the coffee was decent, the fried bologna was thick sliced but otherwise pretty average, fried potatoes (home fries) were starchy and bland, and the omelet was just ok. Everything was overpriced for the quality.

My boyfriend and I just moved into the area and decided to give this place a chance despite the negative reviews and unfortunately the negative reviews were true. We got there and was told the ice machine wasn’t working, so no ice in our waters. I got the eggs and toast and the eggs (tiny portion btw) were greasy, bacon burnt, and hashbrowns greasy as well. It was not worth 10$, my boyfriend called it highway robbery. He got an order of the large French toast…. It was 2 slices of thin bread cut in halves so 4 halves to share. It was not a large portion by any means, it did not look appetizing, it tasted like raw eggs, grease, like fried funnel cakes. I left this place hungry and out $19, (I did not even get coffee) and not including tip. I have to say I do not recommend eating here and don’t think it’s worth the cost at all.

Stopped in for a late breakfast Wednesday and had a great meal. But unfortunately my mother had a dizzy spell. But the cook and the waitress went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated till we could get her taken care of. Very nice people working there. Will visit again

I’m fairly new to Kentucky moved here on business and came to this restaurant despite all the bad reviews and the prices or a little high on the menu and I decided to try it my eggs were not done they were running underneath and I ordered scrambled toast was burnt and the kids said that their milk tasted funny I tasted the milk and it was spoiled so I paid for the bill and left so I came in again this morning sat at a booth against the far wall and first thing I see is a bed bug crawling up the back of my booth I immediately left the waitress was nowhere to be found and I immediately left I would not recommend this place to anybody and I am reporting this restaurant which is a hole in the wall to the board of health immediately today I advise you stay away unless you want bed bugs
