Basak Turkish Coffee is such a gem! The coffee is rich, perfectly brewed, and tastes exactly like authentic Turkish coffee should , strong, smooth, and full of flavor. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to catch up with friends or enjoy a peaceful moment for yourself.
The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, always making you feel at home. We also loved the desserts, fresh, beautifully presented, and the perfect pairing with the coffee. You can really tell they care about quality and hospitality here.
Highly recommend if you’re a coffee lover or just want a unique café experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Such a beautiful bakery and the baklava was absolutely mouth watering delicious! I tried the rice pudding as well and it was good just a little more watery than I would like and the tiramisu was ok, I just don’t think I’ll be trying that again. Everything else tho is wonderful!! You won’t be disappointed by giving this bakery a shot!

Such a beautiful bakery. It’s quiet and hidden away which was perfect! I wish I took pictures of inside the bakery. The service was amazing my husband, kids and I went in to see if we can get couple bakery items and everyone working there was so nice and welcoming. Even helped us by explaining what each pastry was. Everything was so delicious and the best part was it was not too sweet it was just perfect. From the atmosphere to service and the food everything was beyond what I expected. We took our desserts to go and the packaging was done with care. We will definitely be back again!

What a gem! Found this wonderful Turkish bakery on maps and had to pay a visit. Upon walking in, my GF and I were greeted by August who gave a warm welcome.
I ordered various baklava and cake slices to go but decided to stay for a traditional Turkish coffee and Burek (pastry dough with beef filling) – it was outstanding.
We will absolutely be coming back and trying other items on their menu!

WOW ! This place is beautiful & has soo many amazing options that all look so tempting! I came for the baklava and was not disappointed! I LOVE IT! I will be coming back from Philly! I’m so happy they stay open longer than most bakery’s ! The cheesecake was so good ! Very light and almost whipped!

Delicious, an amazing selection, and the service was top notch! Their mini baklava are delicious- tons of honey! The pistachio cookies….I’m going back for those again within the week. Excellent Turkish coffee. They also have savory items, and I’m dying to try. Definitely worth a visit! Beautiful, clean store!

I stopped by Basak Bakery today and ordered three different kinds of börek — meat, spinach, and cheese — and I was very disappointed with both the food and the service.
I told the girl at the counter that I was going to eat outside but asked her to pack my food in a box so it would be faster. I paid right away and ordered a cup of tea, explaining that I was in a hurry. She said, “Okay, just have a seat, I’ll bring it to you.”
I waited a long time, and finally went inside to ask. She said, “Your order is ready, I just couldn’t bring it to you,” and handed me a large tray with plates and tea. Since I decided to eat outside, she didn’t even bother to open the door for me while I was carrying everything.
As for the börek — it was terrible. The meat one had a bad smell, the dough was very thick, and all of them had very little filling. I was really disappointed!!!

A truly amazing Turkish bakery. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, the manti was perfect, and the doner was incredibly flavorful. Everything tasted homemade and authentic. The atmosphere is warm and cozy — it really makes you feel like you’re in Turkey. Friendly service as well. Highly recommended — I will definitely come back.
