Reviews
We ordered the fried pork and shrimp spring rolls, beef stew pho, beef banh mi, and Thai iced tea. We were blown away by the quality and tastiness of the food. The beef banh mi was really good, the bread was warm and fluffy and the meats was soft and flavorful, dripping with juices. The beef stew pho was amazing, the broth had a really deep beefy flavor, and I was really happy with how much meat was in it. The servers were also attentative and nice.
Definitely worth 5 stars. We will be coming back!
The bánh mì held its own too. The bread had a nice crunch, the fillings were well-seasoned, and everything came together in a way that was comforting and solid without trying too hard. Not life-changing, but definitely something I’d order again. 8.6/10
And then there’s the pho — wow. The broth was the star: fresh, aromatic, and deeply rich without being heavy. You can tell real care went into it. Clean flavors, depth, and warmth all at once. Easily one of those bowls you keep thinking about after you leave. 10/10
Overall, this spot delivers across the board — fresh ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and flavors that actually linger. A plus, they serve Jasmin tea!
I’d come back without hesitation.
The portions are generous (you definitely leave full), and everything tastes fresh and authentic. The spring rolls were crisp and delicious, and the service was warm, quick, and attentive without being overbearing.
The restaurant itself is clean, cozy, and perfect for both a casual lunch or a relaxed dinner. If you’re in Queens and craving comforting, high-quality Vietnamese food, Pho 99 is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back! ✨
