I just want to shout this place out, because it’s become a go-to comfort-food spot for me after being introduced to it by my in-laws/fiance.
They do all the American Chinese Food classics, and they do them well and consistently. The sushi is always good, and presented attractively, even for takeout. And even with costs rising everywhere, their prices are extremely fair.
Staff is attentive and pleasant, and food comes out rather quickly. It’s a lovely casual-dining spot that meets expectations every time.
The teriyaki beef is SO GOOD – it’s tender and not on a stick. They do great tofu/ bean curd dishes and their special sushi rolls are delicious.
If you’re in the area and want some solid, well- prepared and comforting American Chinese food, you gotta give them a go!

Best Sushi Ever! One of favorite Sushi restaurants & the lomein is amazing too! My sons love everything on the menu, but I’m a vegetarian so I do the avocado sushi! Wish they had more Vegan/ Vegetarian options… but my kids love this place.

I ordered shrimp and broccoli, and egg roll and shrimp fried rice. The luncheon was delicious Andy husband enjoyed pork fried rice. Great flavor and egg roll was very good with great crisp. The man was very nice!

Whether you dine in or take out, in my experience the food is always good (although I think it is more pleasant to eat in). Last time I dined the food was piping hot and they gave us free fried noodles and sauce to start. The waitress also seemed very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend for sure!

I was looking up places near me because I was at school at Naugatuck Valley community college and let me tell you some thing. I’m so glad I found them. The soup was absolutely amazing. The chicken wings were crispy and fresh. The rice could use a little flavor but it was still good. The place is very clean. The service is friendly. I have absolutely no complaints. I highly recommend especially for lunches because it only cost me seven dollars for lunch combo w a soup !!!!!

The last few times I’ve eaten here the food has been TERRIBLE !! The chicken is either over cooked /dried out or it’s chewy with all fatty pieces. The broccoli is as hard as a rock & when I asked for a sharp knife to cut it , I was told “ we don’t have any knives , we had them but they are all missing “. NEVER eating here again. It’s going down hill quickly.

This place has a full Chinese menu, and sushi. Both were excellent. Portions are very generous, and Kevin provided excellent service. The food was hot and delicious, and seating is comfortable. Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Middlebury.

My family has ordered takeout from here before. It was fresh, plentiful, and tasty. We Decided to go into the restaurant for a sit down dinner. The waitresses was extremely attentive and was on her A game. We ordered the fried chicken wings $6.25,sesame chicken (white meat) $10.75 combo, general Tao’s chicken combo(dark meat) $9.75, pink lemonade $3.75 and wonton soup to go. I can only say this about my meal…. THIS WAS THE WORST GENERAL TSO’S CHICKEN I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!! The chicken was hard, tough, old and I just couldn’t eat it!!! I tried, but, it stuck in my teeth. It was stringy and hard. I informed the waitress directly and she offered to take it back to the kitchen and have them make something else . I politely declined ( I don’t send food back to the kitchen) and had rice and three wingetts for dinner. I also informed the waitress (as she discarded the general TSO’S chicken left on my plate) that no cook should ever serve that kind of food to anyone. She apologized again and offered to give me something else. I once again declined paid the full bill ( owner did not talk to us or even comp part of the meal)and left telling the waitress about the great job she did and it was not her fault. I will not return , EVER p.ssss the egg rolls were tasteless and over greasy.

A friend of mine had told me about Cheng Square And told me that I would love it. The first time I got pork fried rice with The general tso chicken. It was the absolute best I have had in a long time. As I am very picky with my Chinese food. I got it again another night. It was absolutely horrible, thinking maybe it was just a bad batch. I ordered it like another two times hoping it would be like the first time I had it. Now I give up, I won’t order it again from there. It was like a stale taste. Like they cook it a few days ahead of time and it sits And then they just warm it up.It tasted like it was leftovers. Definitely not happy about that. So I basically wasted my money three times. I really wish they would just make it fresh as it’s ordered because the qualities is definitely not the same and you’re definitely going to lose customers.
