Founded in 1965 and we have owned it since the 80’s. This little pizza place became a local area staple. We still make our own signature sausage for our Original Sausage Rolls, if you drive down East State during the day you will remember the fragrance. Now we have an amazing range of Italian dishes of both classic and modern traditions, starting with pizzas and grinders and all the way to chicken alfredo, our menu stands out! Our family has a lot of pride in all the memories shared at á Roma and looking forward to making many more. Thank you everyone for your support, this labor of love and community is why we are back !

Not much of a sit-down pizza joint, but they did have enough seating for two small families. We ordered our pizzas to go. When we got home, I was disappointed that I could hardly distinguish what toppings were actually on the pizzas, as you can tell from the photos (everything covered in cheese). As my family ate the pizzas, we were definitely able to tell which toppings were on which pizza. The flavors did NOT disappoint. The Everthing Pizza was full of delicious pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, and onions (we passed on the green olives). The German Pizza was surprisingly delicious with its homemade ground sausage and sauerkraut. The BBQ chicken pizza was superb with just the right amount of red onions and bacon to accentuate the flavor palate. We can see why a’Roma was voted Best Pizza in Fort Wayne for 3 years on a row (2019-2021). The service was a little rough around the edges, but as far as to go is concerned, it was easily overlooked. You should definitely give this place a try.

Usually I love A’Roma pizza. Tonight I ordered pizza and a salad. The pizza was disappointing because there was hardly any sausage on it. We ordered mushrooms on one half but unfortunately several made it to my half of the pizza. I really do not like mushrooms. So hardly any sausage but mushrooms where there shouldn’t be was frustrating but not the worst thing. The salad, while it smelled heavily of preservatives, was gross. The lettuce was shredded and it was covered with the cheese and onions I ordered. But under the cheese was brown, slimey lettuce. It was not edible. I have added photos. I don’t enjoy giving bad reviews but this needs to be fixed. I cannot imagine how sick we would have gotten had we eaten it.

The pizza came at a good price and the service was quick, which was great. However, there was too much sauce, and the dough wasn’t cooked enough, which made the texture less enjoyable. Overall, it’s convenient and affordable, but the quality of the bake could be improved.

First and last time having their food. I can’t express enough how terrible this experience was and wish I could give zero stars. Taco salad was supposed to have taco sauce with it, we got French dressing. Got a footlong meatball sub and it had four small meatballs, and they were terrible. Rubbery and hard, inedible. And finally, the sausage roll still had raw dough! Looking back at reviews I’m not the only one to experience this. Worst money I’ve spent in a long time.

I call to place a decent size order. 2 Grinders + Pizza.
I specifically asked if there are any deals or kids options that are more cost effective – they said the only option was a Small 1 Topping Pizza and was charged $13 for it.
I pick up my order and turns out I could have gotten a full Large size for only $10 or a 2 topping for $12.
It’s the little things that drive me nuts. This was the first time we ordered from here, trying some place closer to our new home. They didn’t apologize, just smirked.

Aroma Pizza is back on the corner of State and Crescent in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and they’re just as good as they ever were many years ago. I got the King Kong pizza roll I added bacon banana peppers and pineapple to it and it was freaking fabulous!

Raw Pizza Dough. Not even cooked at all. See photos. What is the problem with this place. It’s also 104 degrees inside that place. Why the owner would force his employees to work in those conditions is a shame. Maybe if you took better care of your employees they would take better care of your customers. This is my second bad experience here. We gave it one more shot in case it was just an off day the first time around and unfortunately that was not the case. At least they are consistent. Do yourself a favor and skip this place when looking for quality food.

Ordered carry out here today. I’ve been on a kick of trying local pizza places. We ordered a medium cheese pizza, and a large pepperoni pizza. They were extremely fast and friendly. The interior decor makes it definitely feel like an authentic pizza place.
Okay, on to the pizzas. First of all, this place seems to be very enthusiastic about whatever the pizza is supposed to be like. For instance, the cheese pizza, TONs of cheese, you guessed it, the pepperoni pizza? TONs of pepperoni. On to the pies.
Pepperoni: 6.9/10
Good pizza. LOTS of pepperoni. Almost too much? Crust is absolutely perfect, light but toasted well. Sauce is amazing, tangy and liberally applied, cheese is barely there, but because there’s so many pepperoni. Because of the pepperoni covering its very greasy pizza.
Cheese: Best cheese pizza I’ve had hands down. 9.2/10. SO much cheese. The downside is it’s a little greasy because of that, but the same toastie crust, delicious sauce that’s liberally applied and a bunch of fresh cheese.
I highly recommend the cheese pizza.
