Should’ve gotten a burger, they look amazing, so do the loaded fries! My grilled shrimp with remoulade sauce was great. The French dip wasn’t worldly as said in another review, but it was good. It DOESN’T come with a side of fries either like all the pictures show! Seems like it should for the price, js.

Their french dip au jus is out of this world Godly.
I asked the sweet lady if they had horseradish, and she responds, “oh, no”,as if obviously it wouldn’t come with any horseradish. I asked if they had any on the side and she confirmed they didnt have any.
At this point, I was skeptical, but the moment I opened up my bag and box and grabbed this behemoth of a sandwich, I was in heaven. Horseradish wasnt needed and she knew it.
This is a top 2 french dip I’ve ever had.
I’ll make Arceneauxs a dedicated pit stop in the future when I come for a work trip. I can only imagine how delicious the rest of their menu is…

I did not actually go to this place. Food was ordered out for a work lunch. WOW….i had the pulled pork grilled cheese..it was AMAZING. Onion ring were on point as well. Thank you. Will be visiting soon for a replay on that!

We stopped in here on the way to work and let me tell you we were all thrilled we did!!! This was our favorite stop for breakfast we had in Louisiana. Absolutely awesome biscuits. Everything tasted fresh and was cooked great! Hopefully will be back for lunch one day.

Arceneaux’s on the River, located at 9438 LA-75, Geismar, LA 70734, exceeded expectations following a period of delayed visitation. I plan to return and sample the complete menu. The Mardi Gras Burger, or Sour Cream Salsa Sub with onion rings, features two smash patties of beef and pork, cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, pico de gallo, house sauce, served on a glazed king cake bun with a side of fries or onion rings.
