Runza Restaurants Serving real food requires a real commitment. It all begins bright and early each morning. Instead of serving breakfast, we’re making homemade bread dough from scratch. We’re hand-slicing onions. We’re shredding lettuce for our salads. We’re stirring up homemade chili and fresh ground beef filling for Runza® Sandwiches. It’s a labor-intensive process that doesn’t let up until long after closing time. We know there are easier ways to do all this, but our commitment to doing things the right way is as real as our food, and that’s not something we’re going to change.

I would rate it lower if I could. My husband stopped to get two pepper jack burgers. He ate one already, and he went to eat the second one and found black and blue mold on the bottom of the bun. When he went back to say hey, this is moldy a girl named Journey Argued with him it’s not mold. It just comes dirty from the factory. We’re older we know what mold looks like but even if it’s just dirt, that’s disgusting. So he leaves after she goes in the back to argue with somebody about it. I call the store to speak with a manager. Journey says she’s the manager, and I explained to her the situation to what she tells me it wasn’t mold. They just come dirty like that from the factory and we’re not liable because we get them from the factory. I advised her that is not the case you are liable because you’re serving rotten food. Which can make someone very ill. Then. I asked her to speak to her GM. She yelled she wants Scott to which she turned around and said he’s not here and then hung up on me. I made six attempts to call back with no answer. Eat there at your own risk. I called corporate. We’ll see what they say.

We had an excellent experience today at Runza! We had a little mistake with our drive through order and had to come back but the beautiful manager took great care of us and made it right! If more food establishments had management like this it’d be fantastic! Thanks again!!!!

It’s been about 15 years since I had a Runza. And just as good as I remember. Staff was great, place was clean and food was great. They do not offer gluten-free option though. Maybe one day.

The service was friendly and incredibly fast.
I had the strawberry shake, very good price and a good sweet.
I also had the Runza for the first time, kind of disappointing.. not much filling and is mostly only bread. Very sad, I feel like the actual original Runza was much better.

We live in south Texas and were here visiting and a must stop is Runza in Plattsmouth. Julia waited on us and she was so kind, nice and polite and made sure our visit was amazing! Of course, our food was delicious too! Thank you! Great job, Julia!

this place is disgusting. i knew someone who worked here, he said there was nasty stains, unhygienic practicing, and bugs. there was little to no glove use and night crew left food out that was used the next morning after hours of sitting out. decided to form my own opinion so i went there yesterday and one of the mangers was very rude to me after i politely told them they forgot the ice cream i ordered and paid for. will never step foot in there again and advise people to spend money elsewhere that treats their customers and employees with respect.
