I do like this place. Happy hour 4-6 but you can’t have a happy drink in the dining room.
The butternut squash gnocchi was absolutely awful. No flavor & chewy like twizzlers. One of the worst things ever. The Brussels sprouts were amazing though. Some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Chicken was tender & good crunch. Fish was good, coating crunchy but the person who ordered it said it was bland.

Got there just in time for happy hour (and such a great one so highly recommended). Their HH menu has items not on their regular menu (worth it!). The food was fantastic. The drinks were delicious. The space was beautiful and spacious. Super chill vibe in the lounge. Little fancier in the dining room.

Happy Hour specials were AMAZING. The Egg Rolls were unbelievable!! Crunchy on the outside, filled with greens and pork with wonderful sweet dipping sauce. The steak nachos were unlike anything we’ve ever had before. Steak was tender and perfectly seasoned, the pesto sauce was perfect, queso, red jalapeños, black caviar lentils… I could go on and on… trust me, just go try them!!!

Happy hour with a friend…. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere comfortable. But the food was only so so. My friend had the $24 crab cake that appeared to be burnt and was very dry according to her. We each ordered the fondue. Mine was more like milk that had been flavored with cheese with some curdled globs in the bottom of it. Hers did not appear as if it was even melted cheese but a congealed glob in crock. The flatbread was fairly decent and tasty.

It was my first time there and I’m sorry to say I probably would not go back.

Fantastic Halloween dinner. So incredibly fun!!! Amazing food! So glad to have 2 seatings. We were 8:30 pm. First course spectular, and second course as well. The main course came about 10:30 pm. A bit late to eat an amazing Chilean Bass so incredibly prepared. Dessert of red velvet cake warm and so tasty. Loved the Jack Skellington craft cocktail especially as my date was that wonderful character! Sea Salt caramel martini so incredible too!! The bar covered in candles completely set the Halloween theme of the night. A huge thank you to the entire restaurant for making this a very memorable and delightful Halloween!

It was a nice lunch, cute inside, but I had to drop off my friend and walk a good half block for parking. I didn’t see any close parking for handicapped. The food took 40 minutes and the potatoes were cold. I would probably try it again …maybe summer.

Only had the happy hour. Affordable, Friendly and decent food. Recommend the Fish tacos, petite charcuterie and sliders. $2 domestic beers and $5 wine is great! Happy hour is in the peacock lounge side until 7pm M-F. Didn’t get 5 stars because the food is not out of this world, but it is good, especially for the price.

Located in North Minneapolis in a bustling neighborhood, Peacock lounge has a more of an old Craftsman look. Looks of older wood work and chandeliers. It has two rooms, one being more of a bar area and the other an open concept dining room. Almost has a reception feel to it. My wife and I ordered the calamari which was cooked perfect. Not rubbery and lightly breaded. But that was the best thing we had. She ordered some sort of chicken dish, basically chicken wings. While I ordered the NY strip medium rare plus. Both the dishes looked amazing but her chicken was so dry and my steak was so plain. No flavor in either. The sauces that came with were okay. I’ll give it one more chance since we were with a pretty big group ($$-$$$).

I went here for a Valentine dinner ! The place was nice. But their bathroom was horrifying disgusting. The staff was nice and very helpful since it was our first time there. But overall, I thought it was ok.
Heres my overall rate for the food.

The appetizer course, was lobster bisque: texture is more of a creamy soup. Had a bit of a crunch from the crouton and smoke ham. Rate: 7/10
.
Main entree, was poulet (chicken). I didnt enjoy the chicken as much. Under seasoned but was cooked perfect. The potato was alittle undercook. The sauce under tasted very similar to bisque, which i didnt like. “Just me though.” Rate: 6/10
.
However, My boyfriend had the Tenderloin and everything was very tasty. The right temp for meat and the sauce… sooo good. Made the dish “incredible” he said. His rate 9/10.
.
Dessert, was my absolute favorite! It was was a coconut truffle with a side of creme fraiche. The dark chocolate on the inside and coconut flakes on top gave it such a unique texture. Like everything I wanted in a truffle. Along with the caramel pool underneath it all. Omg! Such a good combo. Rate: 10/10
.
My boyfriend got the rum cake. He wasnt a huge fan. He said one side of the cake was drowning in rum. So he didn’t finish it. He gives it 6/10 rating.

Stopped by for a couple of post-dinner cocktails. The space is really cool; a classic Nordeast building and supper club feel. Has a nice big bar area, with a pretty decent cocktail list. The beer list isn’t as big as the cocktail list, but still has some decent, local craft options. A few of the cocktails weren’t available as they ran out of the correct syrup, but that’s expected the eve of Thanksgiving.
