First visit and will be going back for sure. Love the decor and atmosphere. Greeted and welcomed with excellent service. Home fries done right!!!! Country fried steak passed the “cut with a fork” test with flying colors. Bravo!

My wife and I were riding our e-bikes on the Katy trail and stopped in Marthasville at the public park there to recharge our bikes. We ordered food from Mavericks and decided to eat outside at the park. They graciously delivered our food to us. It was delicious and hit the spot! Highly recommend Mavericks for good food and friendly people on the Katy trail! There was a pizza place next-door that also looked good.

For breakfast definitely get the haystack. The cinnamon roll or doughnuts are good too. For lunch or supper get the Maverick burger or pork tenderloin sandwich the thing hangs off your plate it’s so big. Great owners and awesome service.

Great food and staff! We usually get breakfast but the lunch and dinner offerings are excellent! Check out the lunch/dinner specials. If you are near Marthasville and Mavericks is open, go!

Went to eat with a friend in the area with our kids and after we ate we went to the front to pay where Kaitlyn the cashier read me my order and said side of fries as if it was a seperate, asked her if the kids meal did not include the fries when she told me it did then I told her I thought you had said fries as if they were a side and she hesitated and said no. Paid then seen I was charge for a side of fries I did not receive. Called back up there because we had already left and the girl who served us let us know she had understood what happened she was going to separate the checks for us but we went up to the front and paid and that the other girl was just confused. Let her know none of even ordered a side of fries so that made no sense anyways she then passes the phone to the cook I am guessing who was an older lady that got very ignorant with me as I was explaining the issue when all I was looking for was a refund for the food I did not order or receive. She cut me off in the middle of talking to tell me she knows what she made which was 3 wraps and a side of fries which was not even what our table ordered and as I told her that and told the lady I can provide my receipt number and I already gave the girl my amount paid where she acted like she had already found my order so a I didn’t understand where the ignorance was coming from. The lady then began to try to apologize and told me she will give me a refund of $5 if I just come back up for it which I did but they did not let me know when we had spoke that they closed at 2pm. Also I am not from the area so I did not understand why I had to return for my refund when I paid with card and they could just refund my card for the amount instead of making me come back up there for their error. Poor service all together and food was not worth the price.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Mavericks, and it truly is a hidden gem! Tucked away in a small town, this place blew us away with its warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and absolutely delicious food.
The service was top-notch — the kind that makes you feel like a regular, even on your first visit. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, which really added to the charm.
They even had little games for the kids to play while we waited for our food — such a thoughtful touch!
We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area. We love supporting local, and Mavericks made it easy to do just that.

A large group of new friends and I had brunch at Maverick’s Diner last Friday morning. They actually don’t do a “brunch”, they simply serve breakfast until noon. Their breakfasts are amazing and delicious, and enough to take half home for later. They have a great American lunch menu as well, and the service is second to none!

My wife and I decided to give this place a shot on a spontaneous date night and we absolutely LOVED it. Great and friendly staff. My wife thought the place was adorable. It was quiet and relaxed. I had the Maverick burger with extra bacon and onion rings on the side. It was so so so good. I would highly recommend it and hope to see you there because we will be back!
