It’s a small omakase restaurant, perfect for a friends’ meetup or even dining alone. All the sushi is served raw and very fresh, so it’s not ideal for those who prefer only cooked sushi. The chef and staff are friendly and welcoming. At $89 per person for 12 nigiri, 3 appetizers, and 1 hand roll, it’s a great value. Can’t wait to go back!

Great omakase spot in the West Village. The 16-course menu for $89 was fresh, well-balanced, and not overcomplicated. Everything tasted clean and thoughtfully prepared, and the atmosphere was relaxed and easygoing. Solid value for the quality, plus they also offer a 13-course option for $69. Definitely worth checking out.

My first time having omakase was at Kinzan and it was a great experience. Days later I’m still thinking about how good it tasted. We did the 13 course and the dishes got better and better each round. Will definitely be back!

The vibe here is incredible, modern, moody, and intimate. From the moment I stepped in, I felt transported. The space is beautifully designed and perfect for a calm, elevated dining experience.
The courses were so flavorful and well thought out. Every bite felt like it was crafted with care, fresh fish, balanced textures, and great pacing. I loved how each course flowed into the next, building up a full experience rather than just a meal.
Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a refined yet welcoming omakase in the city. Definitely one of my new favorites!

Stopped in here on a whim last weekend for an early dinner—it did not disappoint! Loved the variety of everything in the omakase, and took advantage of the BOGO deal on sake (which is honestly too much for one person in the amount of time it takes to eat an omakase meal—at least me—but figured it was a good deal )
Everyone who works here was a delight, and I found the atmosphere to be kind of a perfect balance of lowkey with good tunes. Would definitely recommend if you’re wandering around the village and need a fish fix

100 out of 10!!!!! We were seated right in front of the Chef, Oscar! He was so personable and kind. I had never eaten at a omakase style restaurant before. Fab experience.
One dish kept competing with the next.
I have to say surprisingly, the eel was my fav!

Recently had dinner at Kinzan Omakase in the West Village and it was a standout experience. They offer a 13-course ($69) and a 16-course ($89) omakase — we opted for the 16-course. The atmosphere was intimate and relaxed, and I never felt rushed; the pacing made it easy to savor each course. Service was attentive, with constant refills of water and sake, and the sake pairing is well worth it. The sushi was consistently excellent, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared, with the amberjack being my favorite for its rich texture and flavor.
