I have always liked Haveli whether it’s for dinner of the menu or lunch buffet. I’m vegan and appreciate that vegan entrees are marked on the menu. They are also marked on the lunch buffet and the staff are very knowledgable about ingredients. I always leave full!

Got the Lamb Saag curry with Garlic Naan for takeout, and I have to say that this is quite possibly the best curry I’ve had since I lived in Asia. The naan was generously portioned and had a perfect texture, fluffy and delicious. The curry, meanwhile was perfect, exactly the flavour I remember. Only issue I had was the spice, or lack thereof; I asked for “EXTRA spicy”, but it was a “spicy” at best.
I will be coming here regularly, no question.

The service was friendly and helpful, but the food was just “OK”. I ordered butter chicken and kheer. The butter chicken sauce tasted thin (not complex like butter chicken usually tastes) and the chicken texture was slightly rubbery. The kheer, however, was absolutely delicious. Maybe I’ll try a different dish next time. I’d hate to write this place off after just one go.

Got dinner from here last night and everything was delicious. It was ready on time, I drove 20 minutes back home, and everything was still hot. Indian food does tend to cost a bit more but compared to other restaurants, the serving sizes were larger and meatier. I was surprised how much lamb I got in my dinner. You’re getting homemade, well seasoned, delicious, high quality food, of course I’m happy paying more. And I greatly appreciated the cashier double-checking my order before I paid, that was nice.

Tonight was my first night trying this place….I ordered a lot of food as my adult children were coming home and my daughter loves Indian food. This place was on my way home from work. I didn’t want to drive across town to our usual restaurant. Boy what a waste of $170+. The six dishes I ordered looked like soup and had no flavor. We only tried 3 and they were just aweful and bland and one all you could taste was salt. The bread also had a strange chemical after taste that was horrible. I called to let them know of my unhappiness and they didn’t seem to care. I will be driving across town to get Indian food from our restaurant that is outstanding from now on. This place was horrible….and even though everything was so watery the meat was so dry! If I could give negative stars I would!!!!

This is my favorite Indian restaurant! Nice atmosphere and very attentive and friendly wait staff. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious and perfectly prepared – appetizers, soups and their wide variety of entrees. They are happy to make everything as spicy (or not) as you like. I always totally enjoy my experience at Haveli!

I cannot rave enough about how much I love this place! The food is hot and delicious, The buffet has no base spice you you can add as much or as little as you want to your dish. Ordering off the menu is also fantastic, the wait staff take the time to explain everything to you if you need it. William and Francisco are amazing and funny and super nice. You HAVE to try this place out, it’s the BEST Indian cuisine in town – hands down.

This is my favorite restaurant in Madison area. They never fail my wise and myself. Just perfect super tasty food. Out favorite dishes are the Lamb Samosa as a starter and Lamb Saag. We love all dishes they serve to be honest. Foods spiciness is adjusted to the client request. I can’t imagine how one could possibly be disappointed after dining there. I give them FIVE STARS with no hesitation. And I have never given any restaurant 5 stars in Wisconsin so far. We are genuinely feel blessed to have Haveli so near. Kudos!

Service and staff were EXCELLENT (very quick service, extremely friendly and helpful staff) but food was sub-par… Pretty flavorless and bland. Except the samosas. They were great.
Needless to say, my standard of Indian food is quite high. I know my Indian food – my long-term boyfriend (7 yrs as of May 2019) and his family are from India so I’ve had countless homemade, authentic meals. In addition, I’ve been to India and ate both homemade food from my boyfriend’s extended family who live there and at restaurants.
So, if you’re looking for a more authentic experience (and, in my opinion, much more flavorful food), I’d recommend a different place. But if you’re inexperienced in Indian food and prefer blander flavors, you can come here.

The best Indian place in town! Went here for dinner and the atmosphere was pleasant and not crowded. I tried all the plates at the table and all of them were great!
If you want delicious indian food, great servers and service, you should go here. I hear their lunch buffet is great too.
Wish they did delivery though.
