The vibe: Elevated American-Latin flare with a cozy feel where you could have a great lunch or dinner. Personally I think dinner is where it’s at. The bar in the center is also a nice option.✨
The service: 10/10! Our waiter was great! He was knowledgeable about the menu and refreshingly honest about his recommendations – which as fellow foodies we definitely appreciated. They also give a 10% military discount and as an active duty military family passing through for a few days, thought was awesome. It’s also veteran owned – which we support.
The food: 20/10! For the love of all pasta lovers get the rigatoni bolognese with herbed ricotta! It’s made with short rib and is out of this world excellent. We also enjoyed the chicken pincho!
Overall it’s a great place if you’re looking for something new, a good local spot, or even just visiting. Promise you won’t be disappointed.
I had a margarita but wasn’t a fan of it, it was too tart so 2 stars. The showstoppers were the steak and cheese empanadas, wow cheesy and flaky, probably best empanadas I’ve ever had 5 stars for that. My husband enjoyed his papi chulo meal, it’s huge! I tried the chicharronnes and it was good! For my meal, I had the eggs benedict, the eggs were perfectly gooey, the flavor was good and the bread was nice and fluffy. The fries were very extra crispy which is a plus for me. I gave my meal 4 stars. Overall, 4 stars and definitely worth a visit.
Went twice for dinner in a week. There is a large square bar in the middle of the space with table seating on the sides. We sat at the bar both times. Wait staff was fine, extra attentive/friendly the first night and less so the second night when they were busy. Decent selection of beer, one or two of every style. Had the nachos, fish tacos and the short rib bowl. Nachos were ok. Not much topping. Many of the chips were bare, see photo. Fish tacos were ok. Corn tortillas fell apart easy. Fish was fried cubes that didn’t fit the tacos and fell out. Taste was ok, but had to eat them with a fork. I like a spicy sauce with the fish but there was not any. Short rib was better. Beans were really smokey which I thought added a lot to the uniqueness of the dish. The rice was blah. I had to ask for hot sauce to bring it to life. Beef was tender, fine.
