The friendliest staff in Abington, I was confused with the menu but they promptly asked me if I needed help. Their bowls are huge, also their barbacoa is delicious and their chips and queso is the best queso I had in a long time, mestizo salsa is sooo unique and has the right amount of heat, lastly I couldn’t resist and ordered churritos with chocolate sauce which they cook by order and were really good as well. I stopped into District Taco when it was a brutal 7°F outside, and the experience couldn’t have been warmer.
I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, which were flavorful and the ultimate comfort food for a freezing day. I also grabbed an Horchata and some Churros, which were the perfect sweet finish. To top it off, the staff went above and beyond by offering two complementary drinks as a kind gesture.
It’s one thing to have great food (which they do), but that kind of genuine hospitality when the weather is miserable really sets them apart. If you’re in Abington and need a spot that treats you like family, this is it!

I suggest that you give this place a try. The food is good and fresh. It’s created in an assembly line fashion right in front of you. The staff is professional and helpful. The service is a bit slow. But they are busy. The prices are a bit high for this type of establishment. And, I’m not too fond of the touch screen ordering. Go get a taco, or three.

Excellent Tacos with fresh ingredients, and gluten-free options. We ordered Carnita Tacos, and Chicken Tacos, with a side of guacamole. There are ingredients up portions to choose from. The Carnita tacos included homemade Gluten Free corn soft taco shells. Carnitas (slow-cooked, pulled pork), Pico de Gallo, Sour Cream, Fresh Jalapeños, Cabbage, Grilled Veggies (peppers & onions), Black Beans, Garlic-Lime Rice, and Side of Chiltomate Salsa (medium).
Were also ordered Pollo Asado (grilled, chopped chicken) tacos included homemade Gluten Free corn soft taco shells. Carnitas (slow-cooked, pulled pork), Pico de Gallo, Sour Cream, Fresh Jalapeños, Cabbage, Grilled Veggies (peppers & onions), Black Beans, Garlic-Lime Rice, and Side of Chiltomate Salsa (medium).
The guacamole, though fresh, was a little heavy on the lime. But otherwise, all ingredients were fresh. The service over the phone was excellent. This ac delivery order. I highly recommend District Taco.

I cannot express how happy I am that there District Taco close to where I live. I used to live in Fairfax, VA. While living there, I had the privilege of going to the original taco truck and the 3 different restaurants.
When I moved 8 years ago, I was sad that I wasn’t going to be able to get my district taco fix. I went to the one in Abington shopping center and it was nostalgic. Meats and salsas were the same high quality and tasted exactly the same. I only have one complaint, the al pastor was not available…which was always my favorite. Also, there were no Boylan sodas. Hopefully they bring them back (gentle nudge to the owner reading this).
Do yourself a favor. Go to district taco. You will not regret it.

The food here is so good! The staff was super nice and friendly. The prices are on the cheaper side and in my opinion everything tastes way better than Chipotle!

I purchased a burrito and it was not so good. It was way too much rice( even thought I said lite on the rice). Also they only use white rice and not an healthier option like brown rice. However, the staff is very nice and friendly, especially the manager. She noticed I had a few concerns and was kind enough to ask me what she can do to make my visit positive. Its for that reason I am giving them a 4 star instead of 1 star even tho I did not like the burrito. So customer service really does count and does not go unnoticed. Thank you to that manager for providing an example of what customer satisfaction really means.
