If you’re looking for the best Buffalo wings in Covington, GA, you have to try Rudyboo’s Buffalo Cafe! The wings were absolutely amazing — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and easily some of the best Buffalo wings I’ve had.
The onion rings were incredible too, crispy and clearly fresh-made in the kitchen, not frozen like most places. You can really tell that everything is prepared fresh, and the quality shows in every bite.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. They also have a nice, clean place to sit down and enjoy your lunch break, which I really appreciated.
Great food, great service, and a clean, comfortable place to eat. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you’re in Covington and craving real Buffalo wings

5-Star Chicken sandwiches, wings and sides. I eat here once a week. Mostly lunch for their chicken sandwich. And on occasion there home made moz sticks for a shnack. Awesome folks that run the joint.

Service is always great here and food is always delicious. I ordered around 1pm on a Saturday and my food was ready by 2pm. We ordered wet lemon pepper but received dry and extra crunchy lemon pepper (reason for the 4 star) mango habanero, hot wings, okra, curly fries and zucchini fries (they have the best and I love the sauce). I love coming here and want to try the little blonde and brownie bites they sale.

Based on all the good reviews I was hyped up to try thix place’s wings but I’m very disappointed. I ordered both the lemon pepper and honey gold flavors and couldn’t wait to get home to try them. My best friend/roommate and I both had some and were both unhappy after having done so. The honey gold sauce was good but that’s about all I can say positive about the chicken. The lemon pepper was ordered wet but was dry and the wet part tasted like the scrapings from fried chicken oil. Now my biggest gripe was the good 30 min it took after being told 25min then being told my food was done 5 min ahead of time. Secondly the wings were fried so hard that they weren’t really enjoyable. We had leftovers and instead of saving it tossed the rest away. I didn’t request wings well done so I’m not sure why they were. Now I see why it took so long honestly. This place has such a strong customer base for a takeout only shack I just knew I was in for a treat. I’m glad I satisfied my curiosity and although their customer service wasn’t bad I wouldn’t go again. Good wings don’t take that long to cook, are crispy outside yet tender inside, this wasn’t that. I can make better wings in my sleep.

On a Saturday night I found this place on google and decided to give them a try. I ordered mild and sesame asian wings, along with a family fry. The wait for my order was exactly 45 mins which I didn’t mind waiting since it was a Saturday night and no one wants to cook on Saturday night so they were slammed. Overall the wing flavors were pretty good and I liked the fresh crisp celery that comes with the wings. The fries were good but because they’re curly and thin they get cold pretty fast, so the fries were a pass for me. I had to knock a couple stars off because the wings were a little too crispy and fried too hard for my party’s liking. I’m not sure if you can ask for them to be prepared softer or less crispy but if so that’ll be better. I tried to place my order online but the online system was down. I also tried to call my order in 3 times within two hours before closing and no one would answer the phone. They’re also a little expensive for what they give you. I thought that they were just expensive as an impact from the pandemic and shortages, but another customer informed me that Rudyboo’s has been expensive well before the pandemic. YIKES.. Also be prepared to spend an extra 4% on your order for paying with a debit/credit card and not cash. I try not to carry cash for safety reasons and especially now since it’s still a pandemic and the less hand-to-hand contact the better, but I get it, they don’t want the surcharges from the card machine company.
I’d try Rudyboo’s again but I would try the other menu items and make sure I have cash.

Rudyboo’s has been in Covington for decades my family often ordered from here when I was a kid. I ordered for myself and my boyfriend. The order took about 15 minutes and the cashier/cook was very friendly. We both ordered wings mine were boneless. The wings were delicious and hot. We were also offered a complimentary water. A+!

The wings were absolutely on point. Tried to call several times with no answer. I got the little five piece combo. I did get my food after about 20 minutes. Wings were fresh however the fries were soggy and not really warm at all.. I noticed somebody that ordered after me I had about three orders got his food before mine and that just leaves me to believe that they forgot about me. First time ever been and I cannot say was completely satisfied but I did come for the wings. The owner was nice though and polite.

Went here for the first time and hands down the best wings in town. Glad we went. They told me I will be back and they are right. Wings were done just right, just a little crisp with the right amount of sauce. Great job!!
