So it’s been awhile since I stopped by a Burger King. Probably 8 months or so. But I had to be a sucker for that SpongeBob meal they are currently selling…I have a feeling I should have gone to a different location. Last week at the time(lunch rush) the drive thru line was around the building, so I decided to go in instead to try to save time. It may have worked out but I found that the employees payed much more attention to the customers outside. Setback. They seem understaffed and disorganized. 1 person was waited on before me, and there was a good few minute pause before anyone would try to take my order. That gave me time to look around…TONS of paper bags and spilled fries all over the floor behind the counter, walked on by everyone…didn’t see a single handwashing even though they use the register, handle food with bare hands, then go back to pawing up the register and various other things…I should have kept my eyes closed. I was finally able to order minutes later and was distracted enough by their mess(and the fact that a woman behind me fully discussed all of it) that I forgot to say “no onion, extra ketchup and mayo.” I mostly ruined it for myself there. Bottom line, I paid $16+ for a meal with a dry, over-onioned Whopper(with yellow square bun of course), a handful of salty cheese tots in a cardboard treasure chest, strawberry pie(their best item), and I was stuck with a chocolate shake because the machine for the special pineapple float that comes with said SpongeBob meal was out of order. (Guaranteed just because I wanted one.) Didn’t get the side of sauce I requested either. If I’m desperate enough to try that pineapple stuff, maybe I should try Hanover or Wilkes Barre….

The staff is nice, but they regularly forget to add the sauce for nuggets or any side sauces for my order. Also had a hair in my burger a few weeks ago. Other than that it’s not bad. Better than other burger kings that I have gone to.

I haven’t been to Burger King in over a year, or do we eat fast food much but I thought I’d treat my family. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! I’ll post a pic of one of the Once Legendary Whoppers, the others weren’t much different. What a rip of almost 50 bucks. I’ll save my money for home cooked meals.

When welcoming someone through the speaker at the drive thru, it would be nice to if the employee was ready to receive the order. I was very specific I had to repeat the meal choice after stating I wanted onion rings but instead I got fries. Be more prepared to take order. If you’re going to repeat the order wrong back to the customer. At least use words that sound similar

Unfortunately their service and food have gone downhill over the last few years. Most of the time when I’m stopping by, it’s usually for a drink, as if you were to order a whopper, French fry and a drink it’s nearly $13.00 +. It may be fast food but certainly not cheap. And I personally feel that as their convenient the price certainly doesn’t match the quality anymore. And the biggest drawback, is nearly 73% of the time they don’t have their specialty drinks or the shake machine is down. Plus, keep an eye on the change you’re due. Three times in one week they shorted me $5.00. And once you leave and realize their mistake, good luck getting your money back.
