The BBQ plater was very good! I recommend it comes with fries, hushpuppys and red slaw. All of it was good! Staff are friendly as well. They get a from me. 8/15/24 Bacon cheese burger and onion rings was bomb. Thank you

Whenever we travel to Independence, we have to stop by Aunt Bea’s at least once. The all-day breakfast is great along with the BBQ sandwiches and desserts. We found the service to be very friendly on both of our stops during this trip. The food is good and the prices very reasonable.

Aunt Bea’s was recommended to us by the front desk lady at our hotel, was not disappointed at all. We had ice cream and fries. The banana split
I had was very delicious and worth the money, my wife said the fries were very good (she judges places by the fries:) and her ice cream cone was perfect. Staff was friendly and very welcoming. I would say this is a local hotspot and right across the street from the local school.

Went to aunt bees today to get breakfast and they couldn’t hear you on the headsets and asked us to repeat ourselves multiple times.. cut me off while trying to order to say if I’m in the passenger they can’t hear. So I got out of the car and walked to the mic to give our order. Very rude over intercom to start with. So naturally we get frustrated. We get to the window and the lady is giving off massive attitude and can’t handle the reaction we have. So I go in and ask what the problem is, atmosphere is very bad, you have 5 people squished back there. They don’t know who’s the manager and who’s not, apparently about 3 people are managers? Anyways their energy travels outside of their business onto their customers and they take no accountability for their attitude. It’s not our fault you can’t hear?!? We just got home and I looked at my food and this was hidden in my bacon? So wouldn’t recommend going there. I’ll be surprised if I go back.

Can you say food poisoning? Because we all got sick from eating here this morning. Nobody even finished their food. Had to pull on the side of the road for one of us to throw up. Never been here before today Never going back

Good food, great hush puppies, fast, and the people were nice. Really got a kick out of everyone in the kitchen singing and dancing to the music

Food is acceptable. Today when I went in for breakfast, the lady who took my order was unfriendly and uncivil. I gave her a smile and she stared me down like I was a roach. She acted like some folks do when they see that “you’re not from around here“.

Had to listen to the staff complain about what a crappy day it is, and how her hand hurts and how so-and-so makes five dollars more an hour than she does.

Then there was the gnome holding a sign that said “GO AWAY!“

Such is the vibe at Aunt Bea’s – Independence.

I do not recommend this place unless you’re already miserable and don’t mind further mistreatment.

I have been residing in the vicinity for the 21 road market, and the other establishment in town that I favor was closed. Consequently, my wife recommended that we revisit this place. I should have disregarded her suggestion. It was, without a doubt, the most atrocious food I have ever consumed. The burger resembled a frozen disc, hardly worth $2.00, and the fries were served cold. I will never return to this establishment. Instead, I will patiently await the reopening of my preferred place.

Small, homey, and family oriented atmosphere! Went here with my family after my daughters softball game and it was great! Good selection of comfort foods and desserts. Definitely would go again!
